Wow, what a lovely and wonderful start. I was sucked right in from the very first line and actually felt the loss when it was over. There's just something here, I don't know...tone of the story, the way the words twist together so gracefully...something, but even without any details to tell, I can feel that Xander grew up into the man he's supposed to be instead of the boy he was... Africa was good for him.
I can't wait to see how Bora Bora changes him more...
