Review of chapter "Chapter 12: Munch and Fin Go Clubbing" from bucksavage
Read through to chapter twelve, my god! This is damned good! You have Faith and Xander down pat, and you have Stabler and Benson, Munsch and Fin all down to a tee as well.

Review of chapter "Chapter 7: And a feather boa." from mizzdestiny
Oookay. That was a fabbbulous chapter. I now have to catch my breath :) I practically died laughing at the first mention of Xander's Oxnard trip (really? *Snyder*? ha!). Then had to stop and cheer for an awesome dive into paranoid!Munch-land. And then really wanted to whack Stabler upside the head - what *is* that guy's issue?. I've always felt he comes on too strong. Now I can't wait for SVU to get the big reveal. :D

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from SEAborg
I quite enjoyed this story. IMHO, there's not enough stories (that I've found yet, at least) where the police actually think the Scoobies are responsible for what's happening, and those that do have such an aspect tend to be cleared up too easily. (like the police in the tv series, who would completely forget about Buffy by the next episode)
However, this story seemed to do the theme quite a bit of justice. Nice work.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from pagansun
A really great read :)
The cops blaming our heroes for the supernatural crimes before being forced to see the truth is a bit of a favourite theme of mine, though I haven't found much of it in the Buffy fandom. And this was very well done. It pained me a bit to see the detectives loose the memories, but I can see why it was the logical choice and best for everyone involved. Munch might possibly have been able to handle the knowledge, but he wouldn't have accepted that everyone else had had their memories altered, so not really an option after all.
Your Munch-voice was brilliant btw, especially when he's trying to think of possible explanations for what happened in the alley and when he's considering who to tell about the supernatural. Munch is one of my favourite characters on tv, and the main reason I watch SVU at all (just wish he'd get more screen time) and you really nailed him, I think.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from Coldhands
Just felt, even after all this time, I should say that this is a wonderfully told tale. Not many fanfics are able to balance the heroes and the villains in such a way that it looks as though the heroes could be in real danger while still being all cool and heroic.
Not to mention it is still - to this day - the only absolutely believable Faith/Xander pairing I have ever read.

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Faith waxes eloquent" from Vilkath
I have to say I really liked this chapter, especialy the bit where Faith really laid into Stabbler and Benson. They way they act is pretty much the reason I can't stand to watch most crime/cop shows on TV any more. They just about all include that abusive jerk of a cop who parades in a series of witness's, pushes them around, illegaly gets information and evidence and just writes it off as okay. It doesn't matter how many lives they might of ruines along the way, long as they get their criminal in the end right? So what if it's almost forurmuliac in shows like that to have the cop find the wrong suspect first, twice some times even three times before the 'suprise' suspect in the end is the right one. Never mind the fact the cops do all they can to paint the earlier suspects names as mud, you can't have a visist by the SUV cops and not get fired from your job, neighbors talk about you etc. It doesn't matter how innocent you are.
Never mind the crap most cop shows put on in their interigation rooms, and sadly that's probably pretty tame compared to the stuff going on in the real world. So yeah I was glad some aurthor stood up and said 'it's not right what you do, the ends don't always justify the means'.

Review of chapter "Chapter One: Travel is broadening." from laoshi
The existence of the Cleveland Hellmouth isn’t just fanfic canon it comes from a line in the final scenes of chosen. They’re talking about the Sunnydale hellmouth being closed and it may have been Giles who says there’s another one in Cleveland.
You did a nice job setting the scene with the SVU detectives I enjoyed Munch’s snarking about Cleveland being boring.Runner Up? You were robbed, unless joss has adopted a secret fanfic persona I don’t see how anyone could have beaten you out for first place. Especially for a Xander centered awards. There are an awful lot of stories which insist on giving Xander powers of his own sometimes way in excess of Buffy, Willow, Giles or any of the other characters. This story and this series in general is probably the most perfect example I’ve ever read for the potential heroism of the just a guy version of Xander. Your version of Faith is just wonderful. The way you conveyed what the Harley means to her before you take it away and where her head was at with the deaths of Angel and Wesley was just brilliant. Her vulnerability and strength are perfectly balanced. The self-recriminations don’t get maudlin. The anecdotes of her post chosen time with Xander went a hell of a long way towards making a relationship between them visible. Honestly before reading this story I never quite saw how a X/F pairing would work but you encapsulate Xander’s appeal to Faith. Guess we’ll have to wait for later chapters to get what Xander sees in Faith. You haven’t justified how he could get passed the strangling incident yet but you’ve acknowledged it and by the end of the story I’m completely on board. I thought it was a smart move to draw attention to the ways Marybeth is similar to Faith straight away. Xander’s interaction with the Slayers is just made of awesome it’s a great snapshot of life there and Marybeth’s homicidal declaration is a good way to end it. This was the first SVU crossover I ever read but I think your juxtaposition of demon evil and human evil works really well. This story has been languishing on my recommendations list while I was reviewing shorter stories. I’ve decided to do a chapter from each story at a time so it’ll be a while before I can get back to this one. Thanks for writing a truly excellent story.

Review of chapter "Chapter 19: Life goes on, again, some more" from Gideon
Fantastic Fic, one of the best. Your charcterisations were spot on. Engaging and realistically flawed, yet slowly healing. You had a happy ending in that everyone important survived but you didn't ignore the very real issues of dealing with a human villain and the sacrifices that were made by Xander and the other Watcher to spare the Slayers from the burden of taking a human life. Very poignant.
I also loved the humour in your fic and I laughed out loud on many occasions as I read through. I hope you keep up the great work.

There's not much more praise that can be tacked on to this brilliant story of yours. But, I'll give mine anyway. You show much Xander-love. Since that's a prerequisite of mine, you can well imagine what I thought of this mini novella. Your Xander-voice was **PERFECT** I wish I could claim my Xander-voice was the same. But alas, it's not to be. I expect many more wonderful fictions from you in the future!
