Review of chapter "Epilogue" from Tashio
Hello! I know its been 5 years now since you finish this story, but are you still going to write the sequel for this story. I really love and dearly miss this story. I just hope you continue to write the third novel.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from theotaking
I read... no, DEVOURED this story. I want to read the next novel. I don't normally read stories over a 1,000 pages quickly. To me, that's a sign of the excellent quality of the pacing and dialog. I had a hard time keeping track of all of the characters sometimes, but only briefly. I loved the House of Elliot crossover too.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from maxthehobbit
Great story. I found it a little hard to keep track of all the characters, so I wrote them down ... funny after I wrote them down I never had to refer to the list cause I remembered them. This is a very complicated story, which is why I liked it. Unfortunately you never finished with what happened to the Summers sisters and their Father. Then I looked ahead and saw you never wrote a sequel to this story. I also found this hard to read because it was written in British English, not American. Spent a lot of time looking up words till I just said to hell with it and made up my own definitions, lol made it more fun to read. Hope you get the time and/or inspiration to write a sequel. if not, thanks for what you have written and for sharing it. I found it very entertaining.

Review of chapter "Chapter One" from Odin
I just finished this story and the "Next in Line" story. I have to say that I loved both of them. You have managed to bring the characters alive, and even the ones that are not your own have come to to have your unique twist. I was, however, disappointed that when I checked for the promised sequel that there was not one yet. Have you dropped the story. I really hope not. Great work, I look forward to reading some of your other stories.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed them. The next one in the series is only a short one called The Last Great Secret, and no, haven't dropped them, been rather busy with life...

However, work is in progress on next installment, but I want to get most of it finished before posting just in case I can't post regularly.

You did reasonably well on this fic. I could get into minor things, such as Hayley's friends waiting a bit longer than really believable, and to an extent mary-janeing Daniel, among other things. But the voices were done well, and the pacing was often good.

The only major flaw in the work was that you rather heavily indulged in what I generally refer to as 'Katherine Kurtz-itis'. Ms. Kurtz, in her various Deryni books (that were broken up into trilogies, mind you), always managed to end her books on a sorrowful note, or in a cliffhanger, so that people would buy the next book on. As it was fairly early in my experience, I actually did go all the way though her series, and the only work that ever ended on what one could call a happy note was the last book of the last trilogy. I don't even look at her works any more because of that because, while I don't demand a happy ending from every work I read, I read to escape, which means I do prefer them.

How this relates to your work is that right until the end, you don't let any of your arcs (and you do have quite a few) turn positive. I understand that you are not constrained by the show's system, but you could take a look at the way it handles the issue, by having a long-term (season-long) arc, as well as many one or two-episode arcs, so that you may be up on one, and down on the other. It tends to help all readers to follow and be happy with the fic.

Review of chapter "Epilogue" from Marcel
What bookworm said :)

It's not that this is not a good story. It is, and you have an amazing imagination. However, you added far too many characters and it is really hard to keep track. In fact, as much as I love Buffy/SG-1 crossovers, it might have been a mistake to add that into the mix.

Again - good story, but the ingredient that would make it a great story is missing :)

Ok I really really like your story and the one before, but it's starting to get really really hard to follow, you have so much going on with so many plot threads, I'm sure it's all going to eventually come together but you went 68 chapters and while a lot of stuff happened it also feels like nothing really happened, sort soap opera like without the cheesiness, I don't know if at this point you can streamline it any but you have a lot of characters to keep track of and a lot of plot lines it's just starting to feel cumbersome and difficult to keep everything straight without constantly going back to the beginning and re-reading . . .

The plots thicken, at some point when you are finished I am going to have to reread this to get a proper perspective. Too much going on to track.
