Really enjoying this, looking forward to see where you take it.
Tricky cross but you're making it work to the point of giving me thoughts... I'm thinking the Count and Drusilla need to get together. Perhaps on a starry night. But that's just me.
Comments from author:
I'm delighted that you're enjoying, and that you think something that doesn't immediately and easily go together (BtVS and Sesame Street/the Muppets) is working well enough to make you contemplate other situations involving both fandoms.
Drusilla and the Count? Hmm... that could be interesting and possibly scary. If you write it, I'd be delighted to read it.

& yet at the same, i suppose i should be disturbed. my grandfather has the count's exact accent, which was one of the reasons that he was always my favorite muppet. {{{shrugs}}}
can't wait to see what else you do with this sl.

Hey, this mean that someone used the Count as a murder weapon? Over in Muppet Contracts, I mean.
Comments from author:
Was the Count used to commit a murder?
Did the Count commit murder on his own, or due to a lapse in medication?
Or maybe someone wanted things to look like it was the Count? I'm sure that leaving a mathematician in 107 bloody boxes would make the Watcher's records...

It's never smart to eat The Count's dried frog pills.
Excellent work.
Comments from author:
Exactly. People are medicated for reasons. When that many other people want to make sure the person KEEPS taking the medicine, there must be a very good reason. By the time this visit is over, there will be a few more people wanting to make sure the Count stays properly medicated.
Though I wouldn't call them dried frog pills. Especially not when there's a large, talking frog involved with the continued medication. That just brings up too many scary ideas on what they could be.
Thank you.

Now THIS is a TOTALLY weird story. But it amused me. Will there be one or two or three more parts?
Comments from author:
I point to the FfA effort to get what, 2006 different crossover stories before Dec 31 of 2006 as an excuse. I doubted that anyone else had written and posted to Twisting something featuring both the Master from BtVS and the Count from Sesame Street/the Muppets. I'd have linked it in except that those two weren't listed in the open section - the Master wasn't even listed at all.
Weird is relative, I suppose. For me, this seemed a natural side effect of writing the Muppet Contracts - I asked myself 'just why is everyone so worried about the chance that the Count isn't taking his medicine anymore?' and this is the result. I'm glad that it amused you. Regarding future parts, there will be at least two more, but I'm not sure on the final number for the chapter that will read end part x, end Counts of Blood.

Oh god...Lucinda's back. And once again, my childhood memories of the muppets will suffer...as I laugh myself to death. You know, you're the only person I know of who has crossed the Muppets with BTVS and managed to pull it off.
I'm still having scary mental images of Animal running around with his drum stick and screaming "Vam-pyre, Vam-pyre, Vam-pyre" and trying to stake vampires. Hmmm...Animal as a demon hunter....no...I'm not going to go there.
