i have to tell you that i have cackled at every chapter. thank you so much for this. *hands you scones*
Comments from author:
mmmmmm scones.

It has been a challenge to maintain both the humor and the horror aspects of this story - definitely worth it, but far from easy.

All stories must come to an end, but it somewhat sadens me that this one has ended. I echo many of the sentiments of your fans: Paul the Minion will remain dear to us forever!! lol Thanks for sharing Lucinda
Comments from author:
You are most velcome, and I thank you for your kind vords.

The idea that the fate of Paul the Minion will remain in the minds of many is heart-warming. He does make a vonderful cautionary tale..

Seriously, I'm glad that you (and everyone else!) enjoyed this story.

I do not know how I missed this chapter, but thanks for posting. I got a good kick out of his laugh and the thunder!! As for the aforementioned slayer, I will re-read you earlier work with Buffy actually meeting the Count.

Now I'm wondering how he'll react when he hears that the Master has been slain, a few years down the line.

Review of chapter "chapter tventy-two" from Cutiepie
Review:
It certainly is a good thing that the Count has his medication. The world would not survive otherwise. It's bad enough that there are vainglorious idiots like this mage that push the medication's effects to their limits. I'm still loving what you and the Count are doing together. =]

On a very tangential line, does the Count have retractable claws of some sort? I know that vamps tend to have claws when they vamp out, but you don't really ever see the Count with actual claws - or even finger nails, for that matter - despite his always being "vamped out". Or am I just over-thinking things again?
Comments from author:
Yes, there were many reasons why Kermit decided that the Count really needed to be put on some medication. They don't talk about those reasons. But now he's making an object lesson of why it is a BAD IDEA to mess with him and/or those under his authority. Make the example scary enough and you have to repeat it less frequently. And it's fun (for the Count.)

Thank you - he's been a lot of fun.

Remember, as a Muppet, they seem to have two options - very rounded fingers or fingers that seem to go to little points. The Count is a vampire, those pointy fingers should - based on many legends, traditions, and the whole idea of vampire = dangerous - be claws. So the Count has claws that may have two modes - semi-short claws for when he wants to do more delicate things like use a cell phone or adding machine - such a vonderful inwention! - and the longer, nastier version for when he's in a fight or just a really bad mood, or when he feels the need to give someone some pointed instruction.

As for over-thinking things... I do that all the time.

“It seems that I vill haff to… vhat is the term? Ah, I vill haff to go old school vith this.”

******

Oh hell yeah! Go old school, Count!

You realize the legend this is going to leave in Sunnydale when the Count leaves?
Comments from author:
giggle - yes. An entire town of vampires, demons, and a couple magic users, including mayor Wilkins, all deeply terrified of a purple Muppet.

Not only that, but nobody that's read the fic will be demanding to know what's so scary about a Muppet anyhow? - just how did I come up with that?

And the Count likes the older, more traditional ways of doing things. Hands on is a more personal touch. You must not be afraid to get your hands dirty to accomplish your goals.
