Review of chapter "Chapter 123: Lies My Parents Told Me" from AntiCreator
Review:
Great, awesome, wonderful. A whole lot emotions there. Reunions, farewells, and now, like the title of this story, it seems as though it has come full circle for the house of Finwe. With the Silmarils back in his possesion, and freedom from the Halls of Mandos, does this mean that between Feanor, Aule and Yavanna (or is she dead?) the two trees will once again bloom. Will Valinor still exist? If so will it be separate to the world or a part of it? And where will the trees be located? Arda or Valinor?

To be honest, if I were there (Lindon Hall) and not one of the elect, I could live with the fact that once we're all dead Earth will become a paradise. Once we're judged by Namo, who knows. The good need not fear judgement.

One thing I wonder about. If I remember rightly, and I could be completely wrong, it was a long time ago after all, when Buffy was first given Folkvang, she was told that she would keep those men who died on the battle field for the final battle. Am I right? If this is so, did they fight in defence of Folkvang, Valinor, or have they not yet been called forth?

Anyway, on to the next chapter. It has been a while since I visited here last.
Comments from author:
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the read. You’ll find out about the status of the Two Trees before the end. Yavanna is still alive but is deeply mourning the loss of her children (Oromë and Nessa) in the war.

And yes, you do remember correctly about the mortal men in Folkvang. They fought against Melkor’s forces in Folkvang, which you’ll hear more about in chapter 125. Can’t say anymore than that, for now.

Cheers!

For some reason I always get reminded about Elric of Melniboné's sword Stormbringer when I hear about a sentient black sword.

From what I gather, both Tolkien and Moorcock pulled the black sentient sword from Norse mythology.

Review:
I had a few questions from reading the chapter before this one. I read this before I reviewed it, and lo and behold, they were answered here. So, it's close to the end, I can see that. My guess is that you'll reveal no more until it happens. But I'm still not without questions.

You know, you may not believe it, but I thought Aldarion might be Buffy's Numenorean son. You said it would be someone who wasn't obvious, so I knew it wouldn't be Elendil or any of his house, and Aldarion is the only Numenorean that there is any real information on. Okay, so I was a generation off, but I was close. Did Buffy only get with Aldarion after his marriage to Earendis (I think that was it, I'm too lazy to look it up) was effectively over? I can't remember the story that clearly, I only read it a couple of times.

One of my questions was gonna be why is Buffy gonna kill Sargon, as well as having killed Aldarion. Now I think I can probably guess. Is it possibly to stop Melkor killing them in a more painful way? Also, Buffy IS going to end up with Melkor right? I'm wondering if all will ever be settled between him, her and all the other Ainur.

That's all for now. I'll have a lot more to say after the next chapter, or thereabouts, but for now, laters.
Comments from author:
You're right, I'm not gonna reveal anything outside of the story itself. I'm sure all your questions will be answered soon enough. Only a few more chapters to go. Yay!

You weren't too far off with your guess. You've actually done a pretty good job of that so far. ;-) To answer your question about Aldarion and Buffy - no, their relationship starts before he even meets Erendis. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Cheers!

love the story any chance in splitting it up into a series make it easier to read keep up the good work
Comments from author:
Thanks for your feedback. I’m not sure if you’re asking me to split up *this* story, or any future ones. ‘Full Circle’ was meant to cover the entire First Age, as well as the end of the world, featuring the characters from both the Whedon and Tolkien verse. I have no plans on changing that.

I don't suppose you are willing to do a sequel to this story?

It's bloody terrific!

I thank you for your kind words, but I'm still not sure if I'm ready to tackle another epic tale at this time. The jury's still out on that one.

Review of chapter "Chapter One Hundred-Twenty: To Shanshu in L.A." from scarlett
Review:
I have to say that this is the LONGEST story that I have ever read on this site! I think it took me over a week to read the entire thing, lol. I didn't care for the Angel spin off and even less with the whole thing about Cordelia, Darla, Connor and I could name so many more things wrong with the show, but I just really didn't like where they put Angel after the 2nd season. ANYWAYS definately love your story and I'm glad I read the entire thing, cant wait for the rest of it! =)
Comments from author:
I'm glad that you gave my story a try and that you actually liked it. :-) I'm right there with you in regards to the storylines on Angel. They steadily went downhill from season 2, although, I have to admit that I actually enjoyed the villains more than most of the regulars on the show. LOL!

Thank you kindly for reviewing.

Review:
Now, that was short, for you at least. Poor Spike, still, at least he doesn't go to hell. Gunn's reaction is pretty much what I expected. What is it with all this 12 times 12 stuff? I know in the Bible at least there were twelve tribes of man, then later, twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, so I get that twelve is an important number. In L.A Banks' books, there are 144,000 guardians scattered about the world, and now, in this fic there are 144,000 elect. Is the beginning of the apocalypse being the 12th of December significant? By the way, what bloodlines are the elect from? If Morgon ain't Horus, is he Buffy's Numenorean son?

Sorry, so many questions, as ever you just create more. You better write this sequel, I'd like to know all the answers to these questions someday. Laters.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I realize that was a rather short chapter. I wanted to break up the fates of those in L.A. into two chapters instead of one long one. Spike will actually get a second chance at life since he died as a mortal.

The number 12 and multiples of 12 constantly pop up in mythology and in the Bible. Seeing that, I decided to integrate those numbers into the story. The final battle will *end* on 12-12-12, which, incidentally, Buffy foresaw way back in chapter 62 when she was suffering from the malady. The number’s prominence comes into play in the next age. The Elect are descendants from the 12 tribes of Man, who happen to have the blood of the Ainur running through their veins. There are 12,000 from each tribe.

I think you finally figured out Morgon’s identity, although Morgon is his mother’s-name.

Don’t apologize for asking questions. I love that my story has you thinking, wondering how certain things came to be and what the outcome will be. I thank you for reading and greatly appreciate the feedback.

Review:
Awesome. Shocking but wicked. I never saw that coming. I've gotta say, now I know what Olofin looks like, it's completely different to what I thought. Drogyn. Her son. I always liked Angel though, it's a shame he had to die. I understand that she would want revenge for this, yet I can't help but feel that maybe it was a little harsh. Angel himself said that he only did it because he had to. And all Angel did was bite him, releasing him in a way. He wasn't the one who beat him and pulled out his hair. Still, a parent doesn't view it that way. We'll go to the ends of the earth to protect our children, and Buffy's reaction is not unexpected.

It was nice to see that Gunn was still alive. I always liked him, and Spike. What will happen to Spike now? Will one of his friends kill him, or will he go with the rest of the earth? Maybe, seeing as he's going to die anyway, he may see it as a chance to bring back Fred. Would that work? It was cool to hear Cordy's fate too. Nice to know she's working for Buffy now.

I'm thinking of reading deeper into Egyptian mythology, especially if you do continue this story into the second age. I've already read about the civilisation, and the empire, the Pharaohs and the hoteps, their main deity Marduk (I think I should read up a little on him as well), but as for their mythology, I only really know a brief outline of the Osiris and Isis story. It's nice to know who Morgon is now too. Horus.

Until next time, adios.
Comments from author:
Thank Eru I took my beta’s advice and edited down the Angel death scene. He said that I’d piss off people with a slow, agonizing death, and I do believe he was right. So, I made it much quicker in the final version. Sorry to say, I’ve never been a big Angel fan. I do think, my dear, that you might need to re-watch episode 5-21 (Power Play) again to refresh your memory. Not only did Angel feed off Drogyn, but he also snapped his neck, killing him. It is for that reason that Buffy killed him. Also, Olofin was a shape-shifter. Whenever he came into this world, he guised himself in human form. He looked much different in his true elvish state.

You’ll find out about Spike in the next chapter. I can’t say anything more than that. *whistles innocently*

Glad to hear that my story has you reading up on Egyptian mythology, though you might want to read up on Sumerian, Akkadian and Babylonian mythology since the Egyptians derived much of their myth from those earlier traditions. My storylines center around the Gods more so than the Pharaohs and mortal kind. Marduk (Ra) is important as is Osiris and Set. And, of course, Isis. Although, when Buffy first returns to the East in the S.A., it’s to Babylon, where she earns the notorious title, “Whore of Babylon.” LOL! Oh, and Horus and Morgon are two totally different people.

Once again, I thank you for your feedback.
