Review of story "First Contact" from JoshuaRichardson
Review:
Yikes! That's a rather frightening one. What brought this story about?
Comments from author:
A guy I know from the local HeroClix group lent me Planet Hulk.

Review:
Hurrah for Jenny!

Do hope the BBC makes something of her.

Anyway, good up date.

All the best,
DaveT.
Comments from author:
I have plans for Jenny (in fact, she gets me out of a tight spot, plot-wise), so she will be showing up again.

Review:
Nice - I think that this is the first Jenny fic I've seen, though there may be more around.

This is full of awesome, Jenny rocks
Comments from author:
Glad you like her, because she's going to be a regular character in a future story.

Review of story "First Contact" from Elric
Review:
Paranoid colonials are going to have a field day with her. Because you know they are going to way to check for a undercover Cylon. Ergo they are going to find 2 heart beats and that will be the end of it.

Doctor would have so much fun with the Cylons that I want to see.

btw great story.
Comments from author:
The wouldn't find a trace of human or Cylon DNA, making her "something else", and given what she can do, that would lead to "someone you don't want to upset, especially if her dad's around".

Oncoming Storm Junior FTW!

Review of story "First Contact" from Weaver
Review:
I see it didn't take long for Jenny to start appearing in fanfic then (this is the first crossover I've seen, the first Jenny fic, period was a DW drabble). Heh, brand spanking new and already saving people. The Doc would be proud.
Comments from author:
I had plot bunnies hopping about my head before the credits had even started ;)

Review of chapter "Doppleganger (BSG/BTVS)" from RevDorothyL
Review:
I almost feel sorry for Six, falling prey to . . . herself (with a demonic super-charge).

Review of chapter "The Immigrant Problem (BSG / Lensman novels)" from (Past Donor)Starbug
Review:
I kind of remember reading the first Lensman book, maybe the second, but don't quote me on that. But I do have the Manga Corp movie they did back in the 80's (probably cashing in on the Star Wars fad, given how similar the plots are), and that kicked ass. And, as other said, no political correctness: see a problem, deal with it, let their god sort them out...
Comments from author:
Like I said, the Lensman books aren't much like the anime version - think mind-reading fascists running the War on Drugs with lethal efficiency and big guns and you'll have the idea.

Review:
Oh happy day! Memories of reading the Lensmen books come flooding back. No STNG political correctness/fluffy Bunny-isms for the Galactic Patrol NO SIR!

Thank-you for reminding me of these books....great fic by-the-way.

All the best,
DaveT.

Review:
Ok although I've not seen the TV series I know the basics.

Another good one enjoyed it.

Minot point; a lot of three letter words in the first paragraph appear to be missing a letter! Is there a letter thief about?

All the best,
DaveT.

Review:
Vampire Cylons... heh, That's definitely going to affect the balance. Poor Colonials - although I guess Starbuck could become the Cylon Slayer in response. Nice idea! That living Six is going to go insane soon, I bet.

Review of chapter "The Immigrant Problem (BSG / Lensman novels)" from misterq
Review:
Heh, never read the Lensman series (I guess I should though. They sound interesting.) But a stellar converter beam (insert Masters of Orion game reference) does do nasty nasty things to anything unshielded... or insufficiently shielded. Black hole launchers also. heh.
Comments from author:
Lensman goes back a long way before Masters of Orion - I think the Sunbeam was in a novel published in the 1950s! It can melt a planet in a few minutes - the Lensmen do think pretty big.

Nice idea! It's like having one mind among many, many bodies. Corrupt the mind, and well... Heh, I bet if Bellatrix tortured a Cylon into insanity, all of its model will be drooling piles of uselessness.

My first thought when I saw this would be a Lensman cross was,'What did the Cylons ever do to you?'

Well done, captured Doc Smith well.
