So glad to read another chapter of this, and to finally get an idea of who some of the non-human, non-demon Players are, behind the scenes. Also, great moment with Carlos almost channeling Jack (EITHER Jack) and demanding that the ascended Others either put up or shut up. No wonder it made Skaara smile!

So the Others aren't quite so apathetic to Earth's plight as they seem at first. They're just little assholes about it.
Neat. I like the conglomerate history you worked up for Stargate/Buffy. The Powers That Be were nonentities in the show; we saw their works occasionally, but never them. I like the Thirteen better.

Whatever you think is happening is probably not what you're thinking. It will make sense in about... one chapter. The motivations and reasons behind The Others' sudden appearance has actually been mentioned in previous chapters, but a detailed explanation will be in the next chapter... or the one after that.

While the story is generally well-written and interesting to read, I'm afraid you're going to need to leave out some of the less important dialog (the arguing to themselves about what they do or don't know), because after seven years and 30 chapters, you've haven't even introduced all the main characters to each other. So not only would it take too long to finish (2030?) but the fic might become too long for people to start reading, which would be a shame.
Over all, I like the fic. You picked an original point in the buffyverse to start your story, and you really show their friendship in your writing. Buffy's skills might be a little bit underused, but considering it's mostly from Dawn's POV it makes sense, and Buffy usually only really shines at the end.
I do have mixed feelings about the last chapter though. I generally dislike PTB intervention-fics (deus ex machina?), but as you already have other gods like Glory it kind of makes sense. Also, you used it to integrate the Buffy and Stargate universes in a logical way. Then on the other side again, it created a long text of explaining, and by upping the ante's it might dwarf the strength of the original characters.
Anyway, I hope you continue with this story. But perhaps post the important storyline chapters first, and perhaps include some of the secondary plots afterwards.
I downloaded this whole story and have been reading it on my ipod. As soon as I finished, I looked it up again, but was sad to see you haven't updated. Please write more!
