I can completely understand your reasoning to want to keep these chapters short. it maximizes what you are writing and makes more of an impact. I love this chapter and hope that you are able to update this wonderful fic again soon (when you are feeling inspired, feeding the muse). I feel that this fic is extremely visual and you are doing an excellent job in capturing everybody's nature and I really really love that. I am interested in the whys that everyone has in not wanting Dawn in Elliott's life the explanation should be very interesting. (forgive me if this was already stated.) Great update. Poor Dawn, she just wants the time to get to know her 'dad', and the Scoobies are mucking that up. No big surprise though, they were always mucking things up for Buffy, but I like that Faith is looking out for her and letting her know that they are coming. I'm interested to see what happens next.

I never saw much of Faith and Dawn on the show, and exploring a friendship between them has always been something I wanted to do. This story was an excellent chance to do so. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for reviewing!

I feel so bad for Dawn and I liked what she thought about her existence because of Buffy. It's sweet that she doesn't want Elliott to really know about Buffy because he would feel guilty. I hope you write more soon!
