Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from YademosEbyam
Review:
An excellent start. I really want to see where this goes. (WARNING! Rabid plot bunnies ahead!) Okay, I hereby predict a Willow/Lex friendship coming up. And with that hair and impressive magical skills, could she be related to some other redhead? Perhaps Buffy isn't the only one who's going to find unexpected relatives in the Big Apple. Anya is probably Destine-d to meet an old friend and inspiration. Of course there is the possibility that she was kin to Hakon, putting her at "Auds" with the Gargoyles. On the other talon, maybe she and Hudson were once *close* personal friends. ;) As to Xander, perhaps David and Fox named their son after a long lost child he was forced to put up for adoption as a youth. How would the "One Who Sees" react to a five year old magically inclined half-brother? I can't imagine that the Council *wouldn't* have a file on Castle Wyvern, its "guests" and their curse; Giles might even have written a paper on it. And I wonder how Spike (and/or his chip) would react to Owen Burnett. (Sorry, but they had semi-automatic carrots.)
Comments from author:
Your suggestions will be taken under the enlightened advisement of the Screening Council, which consists of my own plot bunnies and is headed by my muse. I will say that at least one of your ideas will probably make it through their nit-picking.

In any case, thanks for the awesome review!

Review:
That's a smart move there for Buffy. I take it that Glory's going to find it difficult to find Buffy and co. in the much larger New York city area, at least until Buffy's went through other adventures? *Very Evil Grin*

And then, it'll be..... interesting to watch Glory face someone who's closer to her own caliber.

Let us commence the Evil Cackling™...

MU-HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

...Okay, glad that's out of my system. Yeah, when I read the challenge and noticed the Glory Situation part, it dawned on me that it would have been a heck of a lot more difficult for either Glory or the Knights of Byzantium--yeesh, it's been so long, I'm not sure how that's spelled--to track and/or take down a plane out of Sunnydale Airport, rather than a rather conspicuous motor home with foil blocking most of the windows. Plus, I did have to get at least Buffy to New York, and of course she would want as many of her Slayerettes out of Glory's firing range as possible.

Thanks for the review, oh worthy challenger.

Review of chapter "Chapter 1" from Doc
Review:
Hm... Sounds like things might be getting interesting. It does feel a bit...rushed to me. Otherwise, i like.
Comments from author:
Well, thanks for reviewing anyway. And really, the only rushing going on was me getting it out of my head before the plot bunnies attacked en masse to keep me from getting any sleep last night/earlier this morning.

Thanks again,

Demona sounds an interesting pairing :-D. And I had thought about writing it myself; unfortunately I decided I hadn't quite the experience and/or nerve to try. I'm currently working on a BtVS story though, my first! *devilish grin*
Comments from author:
All hail the Challenger!

*bows comically*

I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!

Seriously, though, what's with the whole Demona/Buffy thing? Makes no logical sense to me...

You seem to have a very detailed idea of what you want have you thought of writting it yourself it sound very intresting.

I vote Demona that would be a cool pairing for Buffy.............
Comments from author:
Hi! Thanks for reviewing.

Anyway, all that stuff after the story bit was basically a listing of the challenge requirements I'm working under, actually. And personally, I can't see she whose schtick is "Kill All Humans!" and who has more than ample legitimate reason to be cheesed off at the Fey--re. Puck and the Weird Sisters--being remotely interested in Buffy. Plus, you know, both Buffy's and Demona's long-standing hetero status. But it's the thought that counts!

I'll go ahead and lodge a vote for Buffy/Owen :)

Good concept!
Comments from author:
But Puck's a Child of Oberon. The question would be, does that simply mean that he's a fae of Oberon's court, like how some old-time monarchs refered to their subjects as their children, or is it literal?

The pondering!
