Interesting start and I am guessing they aren't going to be getting any hot showers or using indoor plumbing for a while. I really like the Dawn/Xander even if it isn't romantic, the two of them work well together and without much of drama that often comes with the other scoobs, especially with a slightly more mature Dawn and Xander with a bit of confidence.

*nods enthusiastically* I agree, those two are like my favorite characters to put in stories partially because they aren't such drama queens as some other characters. Plus I think they are sometimes underrated.

*present gold star* Good guess on the plumbing thing. It won't be invented for a loong while.

Nice story, very nice and enjoyable. Looking forward to reading more in the future. As mentioned in the previous post the Vampires in Anita's world are more like the Anne Rice breed with permanent fangs. but then he isn't that type of vamp is he, I'm just assuming Willows spell just altered Xander's game face type of vampire to pass as either Human or Anita type vamp so people wouldn't ask questions as to why he doesn't turn into a corpse during the day.

*smack head* Jeeze, I knew I should have explained why his fangs retract. But yeah you got it, Xander's just going to be special that way. *read the rest of review, eyes widening* Actually, you pretty much got a lot of what I was thinking.

One little technical point. Anita-verse vamps don't have 'retractible' fangs.

Newbie vamps tend to 'flash fang' 'cause one; they think it's 'cool' to shock the average human and two; they haven't really learned the trick on how to hide them when speaking or smiling.

Older vamps only show fang when they want to. Usually to be irritating or it's the equilevant of a wolf baring it's fangs as a warning.

Ah ha! I know they don't have retractable fangs. It's my way of mixing old universes "game face" and the simple two fang thing of new universe. It's just going to be another way that Xander's special and different. Plus because everyone knows that vampires can't retract their fangs I'm going to have Xander give his usual big smiles, in which he won't have fangs, and the dumber vampires will be all, "No fangs, must be human" then they'll get a not so nice surprise. So it actually was done on purpose, but thanks for reminding me that I should probably explain that. More soon!

Ohh, a new angle, that's great! Some ideas are great, but once it's used too many times in a plot it gets old. If you're looking forward to another chapter you'll be pleased to know that it's halfway done already, so keep your peepers peeled!

You've got it completely! I'm going to have so much fun with Dawn changing her age so that she's messing with peoples minds. And in tricky situations she could even pose as Xander's guardian, he was only like eighteen when he was turned.

You realize you have just set yourself up to be attacked by lots of very upset little plot bunnies, and their larger more aggressive relatives. Even bunnies don't like to be called names. Do plot bunnies have PC standards? Or a union?

Interesting setup and crossover. The Vampire Xander upgrades fairy tale was really different and cute.
