Review of chapter "Tea and Threats" from Lucinda
Review:
First, what a nasty, manipulative Dumbledore you've presented. No, that isn't a complaint, just an observation.

Secondly, I must agree with Wesley's analysis - that the Wizarding world's been terrified by one evil wizard and fifty-some followers for thirty years does sound pretty pathetic.

I like this approach to the 'get a Slayer to guard Harry' idea.

Very true. If the wizards would get off their butts and fight back they wouldn't have the problem. No one wants to get their hands dirty. What Dumbledore did to Harry was criminal.

I love it!

And you're right. What can a slayer do?

satisfying read, and I always thought Wesley's mysterious phone conversation 'and you call yourselves wizard's' indicated a knowledge of HP's world.

Review:
*grin* Very much the Wesley I like best, and a Dumbledore with only his idea of the Greatest Good in mind; excellent, in-character work.

I completely agree with you about the insuitability of sending most of the Scoobies/Fang Gang, especially the Slayers, into the Wizarding World; they're ill equipped for the situation there, and already have their specialized niche to work in. They could possibly end up there for other reasons, but as Saviors or Professors or what have you? Not very logical. =)
Comments from author:
Okay, first off, I adore pretty much everything you've ever written, so your praise makes me squeal like a young fangirl. ^.^ It's embarrassing, but I might as well be honest.

I love Wesley's character; he's just so fun to write, especially after S3 in Angel. I did try to stay in character for the both of them. And, as much as I would like to deny it, the Scoobies/Fang Gang would be like lambs for the slaughter in a magic duel like the DoM fiasco. Well, maybe not that bad, but they really don't have any magical defenses outside of Willow and (sort of) Wesley. Thanks so much for the kind words!
