Once again, I really like your way of writing. Keeps us guessing what is going on. I saw this movie once, and really ended up hating Sarge. Is he redeemable? I hope you will continue this one too.

Things I'd like to know: Why did Buffy have to leave John, was it a non-aging thing? Who is Sarge really? Why isn't Buffy healing? And if there's time... what's running around making people nuts and killing them. Sounds kinda Initiative-y.

I've just re-read this story, and it just struck me, once again, how awesome it is. The characterization is so utterly perfect - dense and somehow almost tangible... A lovely, lovely read. The atmosphere of the story, the way you bringe it to life is amazing. It is more like watching a movie than reading a story with the images you conjure up... Just awesome. Thank you for sharing your talent and your stories.
Ok, so I only just saw the Doom movie last night. To be honest, the movie was ok, not the greatest, but not too bad either. But, the entire time I'm watching I couldn't help thinking how well it would mesh with Buffy. So I come looking for a crossover and found this - an absolutely superb story. I love the hints of broad backstory we're given about Buffy and about the way this world works. Love the tension between Buffy and the others and the way she it a totally grown up Buffy, and yet her spark remains. The "I'm being sneaky" remark in an earlier chapter was great! I truly hope you are still in process of writing on this story, as I would love to read more and you have a great amount of talent.

Nice it makes me forget that the movie was a dissapointment. Also like the relationship you have with Buffy and Reaper building in and how she baby's The Kid and make fun of Portman. Please continue I want to read what happends next.

okay. So this is like my favorite story EVER. I've seen the movie(and totally loved John, Sarge, Duke, Destroyer, the kid, Goat...and I'll throw Portman in just to be nice. But they rank pretty much in that order anyway.) Now, you started this story Wayyyyyy back in September(I think). And I'll have you know that I've checked to see if you've updated *This* particular story almost everyday since you started posting it(not that I don't love your other stories - Acheron is just my fav). I know...its sad...lol.
I'm dyin' here. I've got to know what happened between John and Buffy and whats going to happen in your version of this movie(fingers are crossed - he still becomes *superhuman* and they ride off into the sunset together-although knowing how your stories usually turn out, I'm going to try not to get my hopes up).
