I'm delighted that you've chosen to continue this one! It always seemed to have so many possibilities. With a Buffy, Xander, and Willow about as far from canon as possible at that age, you can take this so many places.

Amazing so far, and I can't wait to see where you're going to go with it... the only flaw I see isn't so much a flaw as a personal choice I would have made... Five contracts, and Janna as one of the assassins. A little smooth talking from Deathstroke and Deathstrike, and you had such a potential for the "Return of Ripper", even if you only brought Ripper back as "the handler" for the team.You get to see so few flashes of Giles with Ripper's edge in the series, seeing an author who could have done that particular character justice and not using him is a crime in my opinion. That being said, everything else is wonderful and I can't wait to see Travers F*** up and get himself killed.

Not sure where I'm going to go with it either - it's an old idea hashed out between another author and I, one about a year or so in the making, but nothing as to where it could go.

Hey I just found this story in the list of stories I've fallen behind on. I really like the premise and also like the fact that a little of the original characters are beginning to poke their heads out... While sticking to cannon isn't a really big issue for me I like it when some of cannon stays in. Hope to read more.

Man, I gotta say that this is the darkest, most wonderfully, written piece of Halloween Buffy that I've read thus far. I love what you have up until this point and I hope you plan on updating soon. Or at least, I hope you're planning on updating because this piece is number one in my book.

You'd be right as to the first, but as to the second, I never liked the fact that Travers had that much power, so I'm putting him a little lower on the food chain. Mr. Jonas is an OC, but he'll be fun.

Nicely done. I can't wait for more info about who 'Mr. Jonas' is and how the assassins match up against each other. Although now that I think about it, I've completely stopped thinking of the characters as anything other than their assassin persona's. If that wasn't your intention then you might want to show how the characters are still the same somehow.

As for Mr. Jonas, he'll be a background character... but he'll actually do something where as, say, Angel just skulked.

As for the characters, yes, this so far has been the intent, but in the next chapters you'll see some of their original personalities come out. Given the nature of their new personalities, this shouldn't be surprising, though.

Second: Great work, the fine lines danced here are rich: in sarcasm, wit, style, and humor.
Third: Jenny is the cherry on top of this.
Fourth: Will Giles survive his coming bout with alcoholism, as least with his liver intact?
