now thats a good job for Xander and if they have neighborhood patrols in cars he should get Buffy to join if only to cut down on response time and allow for being able to patrol larger areas plus a paycheck and insurance. although I have a hard time trying to picture Buffy in a security guards uniform.

This is a pretty good start. Enjoyable, quick read. It could be a series of drabbles at different places that Xander does security work for around town, or it could be fleshed out into a full fledged story. Quite an interesting story idea.
