Review of chapter "New Plan" from FireWolfe
Review:
Great update. I look forward to seeing what happens. I hope Buffy and Xander end up safe and sound. Faith too for that matter. Personally blowing up the council early sounds wonderful.

Well i'm glad Sam took the news about his kid being knocked out so well, having him for a enemy would be bad news.

Good story looking forward to your next chapter.
Comments from author:
Sam knows from Buffy's concern that she hadn't done it maliciously and at the moment, no one at this point in time, other than Catherine's mother, knows that he is her father. So any payback he might seek out in the future for her injury will be tempered.

Review of chapter "Greg gets a headache" from Oakheart
Review:
Thoughts, with little respect to order: first, that all my decades of comic books are now invalid, given that nobody could change costumes on a rooftop without getting caught on a camera. Second, that the population of the earth has exceeded 7 billion persons, and that fingerprinting is based off statistical probabilities that assume 10 billion or less people - we're getting close to the point where there _will_ be a pair of identical fingerprints.

Oh, yeah - the story. Rocks awesome. Looking forward to any and all continuances as you write them. Thanks!

Magic and Vegas don't mix. If you take into account the fact that Comic canon has Buffy in Vegas with Pike, pre series, Braun might actually know about her. And he less angry when he finds out what happened to Catherine. Excellent tale, thank you.

The CSI team has a new problem they arnt seeing yet all the evidence they are looking at could of been planted since there is no video of Buffy or Xander to show they where in the locations. 20 minutes with the right tools and a copy of someones finger prints and you can have a pair of gloves that leave those prints where you want them.

Review of chapter "1 + 1 = 5?????" from PATM
Review:
While entertaining and faced paced X has far more expertise and self assuredness then he ever exhibited in the series. Giles apparently stuck a brain from the ninth dimension into his head? There are mysterious players loitering around and that last sentence is vague by half, I'm guessing it is Giles. Crossovers galore and effectively used help the wow factor. I am leaning to Carla Guigno rather than J low.

Review of chapter "1 + 1 = 5?????" from Greywizard
Review:
As always, I'm delighted to see another chapter of this show up, man. ;-)

Brass is going to be working on an addition to that bleeding ulcer he probably already has, and Catherine is going to work herself up into a self-righteous frenzy, and I'm delighted to see both of those things happening. ;-)

You're dropping clues that would lead us to think that the murder SCI is investigating might be Faith's, and I'm undecided as to whether it really is, since you're a good enough writer to drop red herrings in order to lead us astray in our deductions.

Anyway, as I said, it's good to see more of this, and I'm hoping we see yet another chapter soon. ;-)

Review:
The longer Buffy and Xander remain on the 'lamb' the more they actually start to think like fugitives. In the previous chapters it was all about the art of avoiding notice whilst at the same time maintaining a level of moral's about the various extremes they were willing to go to inorder to remain free. As they begin to notice that little-by-little all sides are slowly starting to cave in around them, they are now re-examining how far they are both willing to go. Again in this chapter, Buffy, has allowed herself to take the role of 'passanger', letting Xander out line the strategy. When Xander suggested that they might have to rob the Eriff Demon in order to secure an untraceble supply of finances, Buffy didn't even so much as bat an eye. She even took the issue one step further and volunteered a willingness to kill it to grab it's cash-stash, even though Xander hadn't made that an option. I think you could probably start looking at this as evidence on Buffy's part to do whatever she has to to keep Xander out of trouble. In alot of ways, Buffy, sees her fate as sealed. She has been convicted of Murder, if she's caught it's the Big House, no questions asked. Xander, however? In my last review I tabled the idea that Buffy was going along with what Xander was saying because she see's Xander as the one who from her perspective has the most to lose. She already knows what to expect for herself. I now recind that opinion and present the possibility that Buffy is now all about protecting Xander and to keep him from being caught. In Buffy's mind, even though everyone was kept intentionally in the dark, Xander was the only one who 'stepped-up' and took the risks upon himself to free her, even though the ability to do so was subversively provided by Giles. Xander was the one who put his whole life and freedom on the line for her without the direct asking to do so. That would earn him huge kudos by Buffy, even though she hasn't said such to him. The very least she can do is to take whatever action is needed, above and beyond, being a Slayer to keep him as safe as he is trying to keep her. Can't wait to read more. Would love to hear back from you. Wayne
Comments from author:
They already took a retainer to go after the Eriff as part of their cover as bounty hunters. They were just evaluating the possibility of actually doing the job to get the needed money. Its a demon that is endangering people so Buffy would have few qualms if any of killing it.

Other than that I find your evaluation of the circumstances quite intriguing.

I personally hope a migraine forms for anyone who seeks to bother Buffy or Xander. Magic? How about a leave them the F$&k alone message. Hoping a virus sweeps any electronic and video data they acquire. Hope any government agency that tries to get them keeps running into dead ends.

Magic, yes, hopefully, someone will see that if magic exists, then the so called evidence that convicted Buffy could also be conjurored. Hope the prosecuter gets every disease that Xan got from the Schmash tribe vengence spirit.

Review of chapter "CSI" from eckles
Review:
As with all your stories, I find them equally compelling and enjoyable. This one carries a great deal of descriptive background that has me wanting to applaud. First rate. With everything that is going on, I am surprised, that Buffy has been able to keep her impulsiveness in check. I almost suspect that it is due to one of two reason's.

The first is that she is blatantly aware of what her freedom has cost Xander, and as such she is very much humbled by his willing sacrifice to risk his own Prison Sentence to keep her alive and offer her a chance to reclaim her life. That she is more then willing to take a back-seat and allow him to take charge. After all, if they get caught what are they going to do? She's already been sentenced to Life without Parole. Xander's the one with the most to lose now, therefore, the choices should all be his.

The second is because Buffy realizes just how out of depth she is. Against Vampires and Demon's, yeah, she probably has a clue. But in the 'Real World' she has to admit that she lacks a certain 'street smarts', something Xander is demonstrating he seems to have an abundance of. And there is also the possibility that she is in-fact in awe at how well he has co-ordinated everything so far to keep them both moving towards their objective (Faith) for the past week and a bit without slipping up and being caught.

Very curious towards the nature of the body in their Hotel Room. Was that someone sending the pair a 'message' to get out of Sin City or was it just coincidence?

Giles made a very interesting thought bubble a few chapters back about what happens when two people of the opposite sex spend a degree of time in the others company, they will end up hating each-other or through happen stance find themselves doing the 'dance with no pants'. With how Xander has been managing himself so far, I think it is safe to say that Buffy will be starting to look at him with a different set of eyes.

Hope to hear from you.
