And you do realize that now you've opened up yourself to us wanting to know about Don's first death. How did it happen? Was it during his fugitive recovery days? That might explain why his dad got worried as it's hinted in the show that Fugitive Recovery led to some dark days for Don. I can see how some PTS due to 'dying' would affect Don.
Anyway... more please?

Sorry, but I doubt it. For the moment, this universe is done. I have too many other unfinished works that I'd love to finish. PaBurke

That was a really touching ending. I didn't see it coming. Poor Don -- I cannot see him without his dad and brother around. Sad! But the image of stubborn Don determined to beat the timeline, and actually therefore fulfilling Charlie's estimates of his stubbornness and training ability, well, it makes me smile anyway.
My word, I shouldn't have read this at work. That last chapter had me in tears. This was wonderful - I love Numb3rs stories and this is the first Xover of this nature that I have read. Thank you for sharing it.

Love the idea of Don simply shooting Immortals who don't wait for him to get the sword out of his trunk. LOL! And there are heavy caliber or large caliber bullets that are capable of taking off someone's head, like that .75 round Edgerton mentions. There is a 5.0 (sp?) round that is 'against' the Geneva con rules, you're only supposed to use it against stuff like tanks. I'm sure that could easily take apart a human head.
And you do realize that you could have Matthew show up, right? Once they both realize neither is a headhunter, I'm sure that as fellow FBI guys, they'll get along very well.
Oh, what would Don do if Corey showed up?
