I read this 'cos I couldn't believe that a single chapter could have 2 recs already. And now I can't believe it doesn't have more! Brilliantly written. Can't wait for the next chapter (and hopefully some idea of why Buffy is so broken). Oh, and I also enjoyed the long chapter - hope the rest are just as wordy.

I'm not sure how Buffy ended up having to go to Hogwarts but I really like it. I love the way you write Buffy. I really like how cautious she is and her hand seems to be on her weapon, it's very slayerly of her. I have waited forever for this story to reappear. I remember it well. It actually predates me finding this site. I LOVVVVVe this story. It's original was very funny, especially the names " mr. haggy" "Cedar" for Cederick ect. She originally appeared to be heading for a pairing with a Weasley twin. This version appears to lean toward Charlie. Also, the last time I found a version of this story there was an extra scene in this same chapter where Mr. Malfoy grabs her arm at the train station??I also remember her dressing very "Buffy" as all her clothes were specially tailored by "Madom MOO". Anyway, I KNOW you have several chapters already. So, GIVE THEM UP NOW!!!!! Did I mention how much I loved this story.

I remember reading this on fanfiction.net, was your penname possibly Rali? Actually, if I'm remembering correctly in one of your rewrites you had what is possibly my favorite Buffy crossover moment. In it you had the bloody baron go over to Buffy and she executed a perfect curtsy to him due to leftovers of her Halloween costume, it was just such a wonderful mixture of the two genres that it always stuck with me even after it was removed when the story's beginning turned a bit darker. I'm pretty sure that was the same draft that had Buffy sitting with at least Ginny on the train and revealing a thong when she changed into her school clothes, I seem to remember Ginny had never seen one before and Hermione had to explain their purpose to her.

Is your ship going to stay the same or will it she be paired with someone else, perhaps Charlie as this time around she didn't pull her knife on him? I rather like the increase in Remus's role, especially how Buffy had to stop herself from leaning into him because she noticed how warm he was. I thought it was a nice allusion to his werewolf status without her knowing immediately. Will Remus go the Diagonally with her instead of Wood? (or was it Diggory) It would prolly be more believable that she'd be sent with an adult rather than a student since Deatheaters showed up at the Quidditch cup.

As I'm sure by now you can tell how happy I am that you are continuing this considering its been over three years and I still remember that bits of the various drafts you went thru.

I’m glad you’re so committed to finishing this story and I eagerly anticipate further chapters. I admit that from what I’ve read so far it isn’t one of my favourites; I found it didn’t flow quite as well as some of you previous (or is that your more recent?) works, but I’m sure I’ll warm to it once you post more.

When is this story set in the HP timeline? And, considering you started it in 2004, are you going to follow the plotline of the later HP books?

Huh... I remember the title as one of those stories that started out promising and then disappeared before ever being finished. But the story itself... I don't really remember.
