Thanks for the review. I actually chose the revolver for a reason: Cordelia was in Honor's dress uniform (which is why she had the sword too) and the revolver was a gift that Honor only wears on special occasions.

I'm kind of hoping you're not planning to _completely_ rewrite the Cordelia character, though bonding with a treecat, as seems likely, is a plausible reason for character adjustments.

This is an amazing start. I absolutely love the honor harrington series. I would love to read a major story out of this. Like what does Cordelia really remember and how it would be useful. Also, since she is the one who will get visions, its stands to reason she should be some sort of "sensitive". You could go in at least three directions off the top of my head: 1. straight buffy (now cordy and xander both have a soldiers memories?) 2. cross with stargate (it being the most common cross with space involved) 3. somehow get the honorverse involved (Can you see cordy on grayson and the womens right deal). That would be interesting. or a completely different cross like NCIS (they have a big bad of the week and there's the military thing.) Just some random suggestions to hopefully get things going. Great job!

I logged on to your story and expected to read a silly little story that might bring a smile to my face. Instead I read a really nice START to a very interesting AU. The relationship between Nimitz and Cordy is going to be the core to your story. I hope you continue this story as this beginning has so much potential, I really want to read what this AU is like with Nimitz as a Scooby and Cordy as a proven combat leader. Maybe Giles can come up with a spell to make most people see the treecat as just a Really Big Kittycat. Lol!

Great idea, though --there's another HH/Buffy crossover (B. gets sucked into Acathla, spit out on Haven & is a POW with HH at that planet....)---
Hm, Cordelia needs to get Nimitz to 'bond' with somebody, stat--hopefully her--- also does Cordelia retain any of HH's physical stuff? (heavy gravity adaptation, plus full hand to hand training?)-- C. is definitely very smart, she got top grades & was accepted to lots of colleges etc---
Maybe Willow can do a spell that helps xfer the bond Nimitz has to Cordelia.... beyond that it depends on how much knowledge C retains--can she eventually build high tech gadgets? Remember all the combat tactics etc learned at the academy? etc....... hm, if she gets some of HH's physical abilities, might benefit slightly from 'prolong'...

I don't think she'll be able to build much, the tech base is too different - plus Honor came up the Tac side, not the Engineering side - but as for combat tactics...oh yeah!
As for physical abilities? I've been trying to think logically (very difficult for me...) and I think that she will get to keep any genetic modifications, but nothing "added on" at a later time like her cybernetic eye.
