I guess the moral is 'Don't mess with the Maou, for he is subtle and quick to stab you' he he. Great pair of chapters (31+32) I really like this story.

Aww, now you are going to likely follow Xander and we will never find out how the DLM gang react to his exit :(
I'm enjoying your story a great deal. I do find myself wondering if Xander will pick up any hints on how to direct his "wormholes". hehehe, it would be funny if he finds himself back in the SGC after a circuit and gives Jacks traditional cry of "For Crying Out Loud". You could use that to show that he is picking up some ability with the skill maybe.
I'm not sure how much longer he would keep shooting blind without learning something from it. Though, the Sliders gang seemed to follow that format. If you followed the Sliders show at all, you'd know it didn't work for them. They actually did find their world, but since time had passed the sign they were looking for that it was their world had changed (squeaky gate hinge) and they jumped again. Not as likely to happen to Xander since he would interact with people and isn't tied to a deadline, but it still must be frustrating.
Unfortunately if he got home, he wouldn't be likely to jump again from boredom. Though, maybe he would miss the excitement during the summer lull?
Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for sharing.

Heh, collapsing sword indeed, the wonders of what people will believe. definitely an interesting exit xander left with, but i really must wonder, xander is a spiritual entity, his sword may not work but i'm sure he can find some way of 'consuming' gravelings, they are like little demonic imps, therefore they would be like a snack, little power boosts in a simple package, prevalent and with enough of them xander will have the power to punch through to the next dimension, a high energy dimension that requires a great push to get past the interference.....i look forwards to seeing xander break some rules, cause some chaos and kick some ass.
