Wow. Talk about emotional upheaval. Poor Buffy. Plus I think I actually liked Mark from how you described him. Regardless I can't wait till Buffy starts working with House's team. Or at least I assume that's what might happen. Unless the council did something else and it requires Buffy to seek medical treatment. I wonder who her real mom is? Anyway, loving this so far.

Looks good. One correction, the first appearance of the First Evil was in the Christmas episode of season three.

Now that's outright evil from the First Evil! Seriously! To be honest, I didn't remember that, so let's just say that for the purpose of this story the First Evil was too busy during that Christmas to show up. Anyway, thanks for pointing it out. Although I've seen most episodes, I don't know every detail and there might still be the odd mistake.

Sad beginning... but I'm too curious about the crossover, so I'll hold on. (Which doesn't mean the chapter wasn't great... but I don't like to read tragic stuff. I read for entertainment.)

I don't intend to keep it sad, it's just the beginning that turned out like that. The beginning of next chapter is still kinda gloomy, but with House coming into the mix, there'll be fun as well. House-Buffy dialogues should be rather interesting, I'm just fine-tunin their voices for the next chapters at the moment.
