Hadn't realized there was another story in the series until just now. I hope everything's okay, because you don't seem to have updated any of your stories in quite a while.

Review:
Hoo boy...
I liked this story on its own, but after reading “Life’s Ending, Life’s Beginning”, I’m even more intrigued at the thought of how they’ll come together; excellent job, really.
Not only do you effectively use the originally-villainous Warren in a very effective manner as he struggles to be the good guy despite his own darker instincts, Andrew’s more childish enthusiasm for magic and Veruca’s greater interest in controlling her wolf-side now that she has people who are willing to show her another way come across very well, and even Anya’s getting some interesting development (She’s never struck me as the easiest person to write a POV for given her usual attitude), to say nothing of the potential you created in this last chapter for Drusilla to join the team.
Oh, and the bit with the FBI coming to ‘talk’ with Kennedy about her father’s mob connections should be interesting to see more of (Although a part of me has to wonder if the NID are going to get involved if/when Kennedy’s exposed as the Slayer), even if I’m more personally interested in seeing how Tara reacts to meeting the rest of the ‘Scrappies’ for the first time...
Add in the interesting implications of Kennedy apparently dreaming about Buffy’s activities at the Academy- as well as the ‘glimpses’ you’ve shown us of what Kennedy will be tackling in future in “Life’s Ending, Life’s Beginning”, such as her upcoming confrontation with the Gentlemen and her saving Walsh from ‘Adam’ as the most obvious examples-, and I am DEFINITELY hoping you update this next (Given how far you’ve come with “LE,LB”, it couldn’t hurt to give this one a chance to ‘catch up’, particularly since you win points for sheer originality in making the heroes being people who were ‘back-up’ at best and villains at worst in canon).
Keep up the great work!

As always you put out superb writing. I can't wait until LE,LB and KtVS cross. Kennedy's Scrappys reactions to the last Scooby just feels epic.

Held off reading this because Kennedy was never my favorite charecter, but the story is good and I like what you have done with the charecters. Hope you continue.

You are doing an amazing job with this story as well as with the other story with Buffy going into the Academy. I never really liked Kennedy, but you definitely make her likeable as a character. I'm enjoying both stories immensely and cant wait for updates on either if them! Cant wait until the 2 slayers finally meet :)

Wow, I was never much a fan of Kennedy, but I love your other story, and didn't realize that these two were taking place together. Now that I've read it, I really like it. Kennedy's a bit better to take when she's not being all covetous of the Slayer powers. The people she's surrounded herself with are really cool, and a nice Scrappy gang. I can't wait to see what happens when the two stories cross.

Ok, so the whole Cain thing just became obvious, and I can't believe I didn't pick up on it earlier.
Really liked the Notti/Tara meeting. Is Tara going to tell Notti and/or Kennedy about her belief she's going to turn into a demon?

Review:
Glad to see Kennedy tracking down some more info on Buffy. Andrew really stepped up there, eventually... maybe they won't try to kill each other on sight! I don't know what the PTB are thinking with those slayer dreams though, they don't seem much use, unless she wants to start pranking Notty (not recommended)
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review, Gideon. Yes, Kennedy is tracking down information on Buffy. Unfortunately, other than Andrew, it doesn't seem that anything that she is learning contradicts Notty's theory of Buffy becoming an assassin. And yes, the PTB are sending dreams that don't make sense without the context of where they are coming from. But then god-like beings often have trouble relating to normal folks. 8)

Nice twitch with Drusilla being captured by the Initiative instead of Spike. I look forward to Kennedy and Buffy meeting.
Will you be changing "Cain" to "Adam" in Buffy's Slayer dreams, since you've decided to come clean with both stories being part of the same series?
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review, Tempi. Now imagine Drusilla working with Cain and being all crazy. Would he be able to interpret her madness enough to understand her visions?
Will I? Not a chance. All will become clear soon as to why his name is Cain. 8)

Review:
Good for Andrew, standing up for Buffy and the Scoobies as a force for good!
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review RevDorothyL. Andrew did good. He is struggling with a lot of issues currently: parents being abusive (to each other), his dead brother, and his own sexuality. Still, it's not surprising (to me at least) that he would try to do the right thing at this stage in his life. And for the reasons he gave. 8)

Review:
That was a very interesting twist! And now I'll have to reread to see how the new information fits in.
And your other story also, come to think about it.
Think you're doing an excellent job with the characters all around, will be interesting to see if the relationship with Tara lasts.
Drusilla: New Hostile seventeen?
Looking forward to more!
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review, MemoryKing. Glad you're enjoying the stories. The Kennedy/Tara relationship may or may not last. But Tara grounds a person. Especially someone with the weight of the world on their shoulders. Like Willow in canon. Or Kennedy here.
Drusilla Hostile 17? Could be... 8)
