Sorry I didn't review earlier, but this way exceeds any expectations I had when I posted the challenge. You're a talented writer and are doing some great stuff with the plot, I am definitely looking forward to reading more.

Great update. Buffy's phone conversation should be a fun when she finds out about Sam Braun, and that's before she finds out he is her daddy. Love the intrigue with this one, continue soon

I was just wondering if you are going to keep Sam Braun alive in this story and is he a good guy also will Sam and Buffy have a father/daughter relationship?

This story is set before the events of CSI season 7, so Sam will be alive the whole time. As for being a good guy, I'm not trying to write Sam very far off from what we've seen in the CSI canon. He's not going to suddenly be a model citizen, or world's best father. But his relationship with Buffy and eventually Dawn will be different than his relationship Catherine.

The minute I read that the room had been upgraded, I went "Sam's been meddling!" Of course, I'm not sure how he'd work out who Buffy was or how she was in town, but...that was my first thought. Loved the first chapter. It's a very believable set-up, I think, and I like where you've got the story set in the timeline. I look forward to chapter two.
