You know, I love this story and I recommended it, but I dont think I ever reviewed it. Anyway it's wonderful.

Now the creepy thing is, I was just reading the story with my playlist on random. I wasn't really paying attention when "t.A.T.u. - All About Us" came on. Until the gunshot in the song matched up almost perfectly with the ghost's gunshot in ch 37... enough to give a guy a heart attack, I tell you what.

Add my vote to the list of those hoping for a sequel.

Seriously? You couldn't let me know that you're killing off a Major Character before I got into this story? I like Xander Sue stories as much as the next Xander Sue writer, particularly since you write well and don't give the man a harem by the 1,000th word; so it pains me to cross you off the list of trustworthy writers. I don't mind Major Character death, but not when it blindsides me.

Oh yeah. Faith (and even Buffy) come across yet more properties of Xander's forged weapons. Ted gets decommissioned, and Kakistos is *toasted* - saving Joyce, Faith (and Xander himself) in the process. Amazingly, both Faith and Buffy started off *weaponless*. Hephaestus was important, even though he wasn't on the front lines, Xander.

One of the best Xander-centric stories I've ever read.

Amazing. I loved this story and the new twists and ideas and future and possibilities it presented. My only quibble, like others in the reviews, is how after all this slow, steady buildup of plot threads and foreshadowing and relationships and everything... it seemed to abruptly wrap up and end. This would be fine if this was the first book in a trilogy, say. This has the epic feel of the first part of a series to it. But if it has been abandoned and this is all there is... that that is very sad. So I do hope that someday there is a sequel, at least.
Regardless, it was inspiring and enjoyable reading for over a week. You are very talented, and I hope you return to give us more, and that fortune favors you and your life and your muses. Thank you for writing!

I really enjoyed this story. You had me guessing between a couple different possible endings the whole way. And your future history was quite well done. Thanks a lot for sharing it with us.

I really liked this story a lot. The only fault, if you can call it that, is that it finished rather abruptly. I think it was just too ambitious in scale and a full stop had to be stuck on it at some point.

I think a second story in the series would work well - for example one focusing on Willow / Oz / Tara or one of the other relationships. There are still plenty of big-bads in the Buffy line-up that the powers that be can encourage - not to mention the over-powered Ethan who is going to switch sides the instant it suits him (/chaos).
