Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from HappyWonKinobi
This is one of the best stories I have ever read! It was... That's all I'm capable of saying, actually. It was amazing. I loved the way you put in the humor (especially where Willow was adjusting to her newly added-to Core, and thought about Jenny and ended up with both Jenny and Buffy and... I'll shut up now, [that sorta thing right there]), and simply adored the way you described the weaponry. For the tiny bit of sadness in my review (which is meant to be more of a peer-review, peer-help sorta thing) is that you put in a 'r5' in there at the end of a chapter. I forget where.
Anyway, I would just bounce with Willow-level happiness if you wrote a sequel, as would several other people, and hope that you do so sometime relatively soon.

This story is the best Halloween fic I've read, and I've all I can find. I put this at the top, followed by 'Jedi Harris' and sequel at #2. Thanks for writing this, MMcGregor. Simply fabulous.

This is quite possibly one of the best Buffy The Vampire Slayer fanfics I've ever read. I loved your characterization as well as your vision of future events. I look forward to reading any other works you've done and I hope you keep writing for a long time.

Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from Kerlis
I have to say, DAMN!
This is, without doubt, one of the best fanfiction stories I've ever read. I've been reading fanfiction for over two years and have read countless thousands of stories on several different sites, and there's very few I've come across that are so good that I wished they replaced canon, but this is one of them. I suppose this isn't replacing canon so much as continuing after, but you get the idea. There are a few small things I didn't like, but really, I can find something wrong with anything I read. A sequel would be cool, but as it's been years since this story was posted, I don't think I see one coming, and if there was one, writing it several years after writing this may change how you write. But anyways, extremely good story!

Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from Ceiryn
Excellent story, kept me up till five this morning. The Buffy-Faith bond felt a bit tacky, but it worked. Loved the character- and relationship developement all around. The end felt incomplete with regards to the PTB and their efforts to restore the balance.
All in all I can say that a sequel would be welcomed with embarrassingly high-pitched fanboy giggles on my part.

Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from Listener
Holy crap. Given its title and summary, this isn't the type of story I'd normally read. But, I mean, 267,000 words, complete... It's either going to really suck, or...
BE TOTALLY EFFING AWESOME.
Seriously, I absolutely adored almost every part of this story. I laughed, I cried (not literally, but close), I laughed some more, and I even thought the Gorch brothers might kill Kendra (you were due for a big death at that point). Some of the Xander-smithing was a little ehh (especially since everyone got superpowers from their weapons), and Buffy's death was rather melodramatic, but I'll forgive you because the rest was SO GOOD.
I have no idea how you came up with this, but I'm glad you did. This story has vaulted almost to the top of my favorites, and I think it'll stay there for a long, long time.

Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from iChaos
That has got to be one of the most interesting fanfics I have read yet. The seamless manner in which you integrated the abstract nature of time and causality into the plot was both captivating and intriguing. Writing well established characters as alternate versions of "themselves" while maintaining their core traits is one of the most challenging aspects of fanfiction, and I can honestly say that you managed it better than most.
It took some real panache to not only eliminate Spike & Drusilla, but actually bother to develop Kendra and therefore cause Faith to remain a potential. As strange as that seemed, it still worked out pretty well in the end. Cordelia especially was fantastic, and Willow was simply amazing.
I'm not quite sure what to make of Xander, Faith and Buffy together though. Frankly, I just have a difficult time accepting that Buffy would A) Be attracted to Xander that strongly in the first place and B) Be willing to participate in a romantic relationship with Faith. However, I will also say that if there was a way for any such thing to ever work out, it does make a lot of sense that Faith isn't called in that scenario. Two alpha females with a single male just doesn't mesh.
Other than that though, a great story overall. Thanks for sharing it.

Review of chapter "Chapter 37: Matters of the Heart" from Oxnate
You know, I love this story and I recommended it, but I dont think I ever reviewed it. Anyway it's wonderful.
Now the creepy thing is, I was just reading the story with my playlist on random. I wasn't really paying attention when "t.A.T.u. - All About Us" came on. Until the gunshot in the song matched up almost perfectly with the ghost's gunshot in ch 37... enough to give a guy a heart attack, I tell you what.
Add my vote to the list of those hoping for a sequel.

Review of chapter "Chapter 8: Oops, I Didn't Do It Again" from Muffie
Seriously? You couldn't let me know that you're killing off a Major Character before I got into this story? I like Xander Sue stories as much as the next Xander Sue writer, particularly since you write well and don't give the man a harem by the 1,000th word; so it pains me to cross you off the list of trustworthy writers. I don't mind Major Character death, but not when it blindsides me.

Review of chapter "Chapter 16: Connections" from SledgeHammer
Oh yeah. Faith (and even Buffy) come across yet more properties of Xander's forged weapons. Ted gets decommissioned, and Kakistos is *toasted* - saving Joyce, Faith (and Xander himself) in the process. Amazingly, both Faith and Buffy started off *weaponless*. Hephaestus was important, even though he wasn't on the front lines, Xander.

Review of chapter "Epilogue: Best of Both Worlds" from lunalurker
Amazing. I loved this story and the new twists and ideas and future and possibilities it presented. My only quibble, like others in the reviews, is how after all this slow, steady buildup of plot threads and foreshadowing and relationships and everything... it seemed to abruptly wrap up and end. This would be fine if this was the first book in a trilogy, say. This has the epic feel of the first part of a series to it. But if it has been abandoned and this is all there is... that that is very sad. So I do hope that someday there is a sequel, at least.
Regardless, it was inspiring and enjoyable reading for over a week. You are very talented, and I hope you return to give us more, and that fortune favors you and your life and your muses. Thank you for writing!
