I love this series! I re-read it every few months and I love it more each and every time.

Had to wait a bit for the chapter to upload here too though.

Loving this so far, though i am kinda sad willow didn't do crowd control spells.

There was a delay transferring the chapter from ff.net to here because the changes over there screw up the formatting and it takes some time to fix them I'm afraid.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Every so often I'm struck by the urge to throw in something like that :-p

By the end of "High Stakes" Compelled will be the equivalent of an average length *novel* longer than War and Peace as it happens!

Lovely start to the newest epic (I've noticed that each complete book is longer than the one before, so I've got high hopes). Looking forward to the next (bloody) instalment :)

I try and make each story a little longer whilst sticking to my 32 Chapter limit.

Hmm, It seems to me that after a few dimension jumps we're going to start running into large numbers of the same or genetically identical individuals.

can you imagine an 8 person squad of Vi's or Jailbait's? Of course it also opens up the potential threat of brainwashed versions from one of the worlds that the Bugs have conquered infiltrating slayer central.

And with alternate Dawns that will certainly make things interesting. the Bugs or First Evil wouldn't need to grab the Pathfinder dawn, they could just grab an alternate version from a less capable dimension. And that would certainly cause issues.

And I wonder how much longer before the pathfinder dawn runs across a world where the slayer or slayers there are still controlled by the old council. Would the slayer(s) there just try to kill Dawn and Connor, or would something else happen. Or how about a fully functional watchers council. I doubt they would put up with all of these uppity slayers. Or cede control to the pathfinder dimension.

Oh well, speculation can be entertaining.

I can't wait for the next chapter, We haven't seen Enyo in a real battle situation, and I expect it'll be pretty good. Eh, I just want to see the god squad go all out. I think Glory has grown as a character and it seems like this would be a good time to really show it.

I like the way you contrast the innocence of the traditional Scoobies with the more hardcore aspects of the characters you've developed. I love the whole series, keep up the good work.

Cool. Hmm, tried to use my search-fu to see if there was a specific type of bow that, when scaled up, could take giant-Dawn's size into context and be pretty bad ass... didn't find much though :/
