This story is fantastic! An awesome depiction of a Faith who never went to LA and sought redemption.

The plot is exciting and well written, Joker and Faith are sexy together, Angel and Wesley are on their way, I cannot praise this story enough.

Very good chapter. Loved Batman picking up the obvious clue and Angel and Wes missing it. I also loved Angel's reaction to Batman. And I can't wait to see Faith vs. Bat in the next chapter ;).

Aww Joker giving Faith a replacement knife is sweet, twisted but sweet. I smiple loved the meeting between Batman and Angel. I figured Angel wouldn't be all that impressed with Batman. Things in Gotham are so much more intresting and I look foward to seeing more of Joker/Faith relationship.

This is definitely very interesting. You have a strong grasp of the characters, which your writing is good enough to demonstrate. The story line is definitely interesting and I particularly like what you are doing with the inter-character relationships, and Faith's understandable lack of knowledge about the outside world, like the fact that Buffy is dead. Bringing in so many different elements like Ra's and the league as well as the watchers and wolfram and hart is another good touch. I look forward to more.

Great story you've got here. I especially liked Joker telling Sal yet another "origin story", and fretting about getting all dom-es-tee-cated with Faith. Now that Batman has caught up with Joker and Faith, I suspect it's about time for the League of Shadows to turn back up.

Yeah, I figured I should add another origin story, "If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!"

after reading Road I decided to check this one out to and I've got to admit you've gotten joker and dark faith right on but I got to say Buffy/Batman Vs. Faith/Joker would be fabulous can't wait for the next Ch. of this and Road! Hint, hint.

So... Angel's coming to Gotham, and W&H really want him there. Also, he needs to wear an amulet. Does Gotham have some sort of Ju Ju on it that prevents demons from entering? :)

Surprised Alfred, being a wealth of knowledge, wouldn't have at least 'heard' of the Vampire Slayer... he's always the one with all the 'stories' after all.

Incidentally, are you making Faith into Harley Quinn? Joker's ass-kicking female sidekick? She probably would hate the makeup and the silly hat with bells, but the tight black and white catsuit would probably be a Faith favorite ;).

I've seen a few stories where Alfred just happened to know about the Watchers Council or the Slayer...but I sort of felt like that was a bit cliche and it was slightly deus ex machina that Alfred would know everything about it, so I didn't go that route. Although, I suppose Giles knowing Ra's runs me into the same thing...well...I guess I can't win them all.

No, I'm not making Faith into Harley. I just sorta feel like they are two completely different characters. There are some similarities in the Faith I'm developing in the story, but I think its just all superficial stuff...like her calling the Joker "J" or "Mr. J" and then there's just the fact that they are both ass-kicking crazy women. :)

And I'm glad you like the story! I thought it would work on a lot of levels too, which is ultimately why I wanted to write it.
