great job adding willow to the resident evil 3 movie. i can't wait to see what happens next. and thanks for the heads up about the re4 trailer. september seems so far away..
Comments from author:
Yeah, neither can I. September is only – Oh. Four months. That _is_ a long way away. A whole third of a year. It seemed so much closer until I thought about it.

yay! It's an update! Defiantly liked and can't wait to read more of this...especially if you're putting Willow and Alice against each other for a little while!
Comments from author:
Don't worry, next chapter will be full of some Willow/Alice action.
Not that kind, the other kind.

I went to Milla Jovovich's site to check the release date and it has been confirmed for Sept 10, 2010.
Comments from author:
Coolio. B) I saw that Sept 10 date on her site, but there were a couple other movie news sites that said it was pushed back to January 2011 by the studio. I'm going to trust her site for the moment until I can find something on one of the studio sites that says otherwise.

If nothing else, the connections between Umbrella and the Initiative sound like they'll be worth exploring in future chapters; add in the other issues such as the new relationship between Willow and Alice, and I think this story is going to be VERY interesting reading...
Sucks that the rest of the Scoobies are dead, of course, but hey; in a series like this, what would you realistically expect?
Keep up the great work!
Comments from author:
Oy gevalt, I really should at least try to get on with this story shouldn't I? Second review in a week and all after having been sitting here for a few months getting all dusty...
Anyhoo, it was difficult deciding whether or not I should include any of the others, but in the end, since I was only really going to concentrating on Willow and Alice, I thought they weren't needed (of course, that didn't stop from leaving a bit of leeway where Dawn and Xander are concerned). The connexion between Umbrella and the Initiative seemed a bit obvious with the Resident Evil fandom (just like one would expect the NID in a Stargate story; SD-6 or the Alliance in an Alias story; etc...) so I went with it.
Thanks for reading.

LOVE your story! it almost seems a natural pairing between Willow & Alice. even more impressive is your ability to really nail the emotional complexities of post-apocalypse-trauma-ridden psyche. it's a difficult thing trying to convey such compelling emotions. well done
Comments from author:
Thank you. It's always great hearing that the characterisations are on and that the emotional tone of the story shows through properly. This pairing seemed perfect when I first saw the challenge so I just had to try it.
And thanks for calling my attention back to this story, I've really been meaning to come back to it for a while now but have been distracted by too many shiny objects.

Yay! an update...I definatly liked it and I can't wait to read more of this.
Comments from author:
Thank you for reviewing. For a while there, I thought this had passed into the archive unnoticed. I won't say when another update might be possible because every time I do I seem to go months without doing anything.
Thanks again, hope future updates keep your interest. :)

Great chapter and I really hope things work out between Willow and Alice. Wondering though if Alice will ever find out about Darth Willow.. ;)
Can't wait for more!

Is there an echo in here? ;)
Things between Willow and Alice are... complicated. Hopefully though, those two can work things out. Darth Willow is always a tricky subject, but it might come up eventually. Thanks for reading!

Wonderful chapter and I love how Willow showed off her abilities.

Thanks. Initially, I wasn't sure if I should include the scene with Willow being so showy but decided it worked better than anything else I could come up with.
