I'm glad Korl died with a little bit of peace. I was glad to finally see some more of Xander the Keeper. Xander can't erase or escape from the last 6 months. I can't wait until Xander and Sora come into contact with the Lanteans.

Hullo! I just finished reading your story, and I have to say, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

I didn't read the first story (I might go back and do that later) so I imagine there are things I missed, but I feel you handled this wonderfully.

You described the starkness of the Keep without it becoming gory and something that would cause readers to have nightmares (which I appreciate).

The story had a great flow and I just liked it.

I hope that Ma' whatever has name is (sorry, i forgot!) shows up later, I liked him.

Thanks for the update! I'm so glad Xander was starting to feel he belonged. Of course, it was only a matter of time for something to change. I really hope Sora finds some peace, too.

Xander's emotionally complicated version of the "Simple Life" is beautifully developed in this chapter. Very good work!

Loved it. He's got some issues, poor Xander. I love they way you handle his character, and integrate his experiences. It's really nice to see how he's affected by the things that happened in the keep, and how, at least on the surface he's still recognisable. It's a nice blend of his canon-character, and the more grown, experienced person he's turning into... Nice work all around, really. The plot is interesting, the flow of the writing is comfortable, but I think the magic of this story lies in the characterizations.
