This is an excellent way to merge the two 'verses in an initially indirect way, since Dawn was actually coming to see Danny instead of Jack - which must do his ego a lot of good. ;-)

And Danny's last comment is definitely going to make Jack a lot more tenacious about getting an explanation from Dawn about exactly what is going on.

If, as it seems right now, Dawn actually stranded Buffy and/or some of the other Scoobies - or possibly some min-Slayers and/or newbie Watchers by accidentally creating a portal, then it's gonna take a *whole* lot of ice cream and shoe-shopping trips to get things back on an even keel. ;-)

So...she accidentally sent Buffy through a portal? Ouch. Might be fun if it would take the stargate to find her. Odds are the council has records about the Goa'uld (as 'demon gods of Egypt who left through a portal') for a nice tie-in.
The fun part is, Riley's group knows about Buffy's (obviously) which means 'the government' does on some level. Dawn meeting with Jack might set off some alarms...

So you get me all hot and bothered and hooked on your series... and then... you've abandoned it. Say it ain't so. Please.

I haven't! I swear! I have a lot of English classes this semester and have been piled up with reports and novels, not to mention work. I'm working on all of my chapters, slowly but surely. They will be updated eventually, I swear it, I just have to put in the time.

It was nice to see an update. I can't wait to find out what Dawn got herself into, and what exactly she decides to tell Jack. I look forward to more.

I am intrigued to find out what Dawn did to Buffy and how a marshmellow is involved. Can't wait for the next update!

hm... so it's not that Buffy just died in "The Gift" --she was in Cleveland meaning it's post end of the series. Maybe found a passage in some old book that talked about the Key and she learned something she didn't like? Maybe it'll tie into the SGC somehow--Ascended beings, that kind of thing... (maybe Dawn is an Ancient?) or the way that the Ancients powered up ZPMs or something...
I'd imagine Willow could locate Dawn & there'd be a group of slayers storming the house soon ...?
* And you're right about the Tok'ra --ungrateful bastards . the Jaffa going off on their own I could understand, but the T's were just a-holes.
* If Dawn told Jack a garbled version of the whole Glory thing, it'd sound like a Goa'uld (Glory) in a human host (minus the physical transformation of course)....
