This is interesting so far.

You know, it's very Ginny to jump right into doing a dangerous thing without worry of her own survival. She could have repaired the broken dishes, though, with the reparo charm. It seems to me she would have realized when she didn't get an instant letter, that the ministry couldn't track her on the hellmouth, and would then be willing to cast lots of spell. Just me being nit-picky, though.

Will Bill still get married? Yes. Not a big wedding like in the book though...that'd be just wrong! But I dunno, I think that with so many bad things happening they need a bit of happiness. And they will also want to get married before something else happens...we'll have to wait to see what happens. Musie can be evil sometimes...ok, most of the time. Oh well.

I have a feeling Ginny's gonna freak out when she realizes she was dead, even if it wasw for just a minute, and demand somebody send a letter to her Mum. . . .

have to be honest...I don't like Kennedy. I don't really see her as an evil ***ch and wanna kill her, though. There IS a reason for her to be acting the way she is, and that should be explained in future chapters. It's kinda easy to figure out, if you think about it.

Dumbles honestly considered telling the Weasley's something... but in the end there were a few reasons that convinced him not to. 1. They wouldn't have let Ginny go.specially if they didn't know where she was going and to let them know any details was too dangerous if Voldy got the info somehow

2. If Ginny left a note to the W's before she left, it could be intercepted and again any details would have to be left out of the note. but what about a "I'm fine don't worry about me, but I have to leave for a while and I can't tell you where I'm going." kind of note? well I think...God this is going to sound cruel, Dumbles would rather have Harry think she was taken, than have him lose his will to fight, by thinking he drove her to leave willingly, Harry would feel guilty either way but if he thought her kidnapped, Dumbles knew Harry would be even more willing to fightthan if he thought she left because of him.
Unfortunately he didn't think of the clock. Ginny wasn't supposed to "die" , so he didn't think the clock would suddenly point her dead. Dumbles isn't perfect you know? ^_^

3. a message after she left was out of the question as it could be traced back to America.

I believe he thought that the less people knew of Ginny's whereabouts the better. He told Ginny in the letter he left her not to leave any kind of note as it could be dangerous for her and her family if Voldy somehow got a hold of it. And I think Gin would comply with the man's last wish.

Interesting. I've never seen a story where the family clock declared someone dead with the mistaken assumption that it was permanent before. :)

Ah, yes The Clock. Well, her soul is not in this world anymore, her body is in another continent and covered by very powerful wards(you'll see that next chapter), not to mention that her body functions were slowed down to a minimum, that's what Buffy meant with "slowing down her body to near death" and indeed her body is nearly dead, only magic keeping it "alive" enough so that her soul can return to it.
