Review of chapter "Forever Spring" from DaveTurner
Review:
I see you're mixing in Jeff Wayne (Forever Spring), H.G.Wells (Green meteors) as well as the recent film, and why not? All makes for a interesting story.
On to part Four!
All the best, DaveT.
Comments from author:
I'm going to follow the book's uk timeline,
except in both the book and tc movie the invasion happened in autumn not spring, but because of time line of 'love actually' I needed to change it to spring.
I love 'Forever Autumn' would make a good funeral song come to think of it.

Good start! You made me chuckle quite a bit. (I suspect I'd have laughed more, but it's been a while since I saw "Love, Actually".)
Please, do continue.
Comments from author:
thank you very much for your encouragement, I wondered how many love actually fans were out there

Review:
Just checked its 'Isle of Man' one 'n'!
Loved the bar scene in Rio, Riley downing Pena Colardas (or however you spell it) just cracked me up for some reason; he's always struck me as more of a beer man.
Anyway looking forward to part three...now I'm going to look up 'Love Actually' on IMDB.

***GIGGLES**** Doug Mackenzie of Hosers being PM of Canada...Heck, he'd probably be just as good if not better than the gowzers we've got to choose from now (If you're Canadian and reading the reviews like I do, go vote on October 14, pick the least loseriest of the losers, say the Pink Rhino party or the Whores Popular Party - I kid you not, this is a real Federal Party in Canada, see: http://www.altstuff.com/federal.htm)
Can't wait for the next part, I wonder who the friends in London are, who they're getting married to and how they connect with the Brit PM...
Comments from author:
New Zealand's having an election this year too, in November. Commonwealth coincidence?
Everyone connects with each other in War of the Worlds actually.
Thanks for the review.

Interesting if slightly confusing (having never seen 'Love Actually') start...looking forward to more.
DaveT.
Comments from author:
A bit of a worry if you find it confusing, I would hope you didn't need to see Love Actually to follow the plot
Maybe when the demon aliens come and the deaths come....
The same actress played Sam Finn and Stacey from Milwaukee and I thought to get around this problem I'll have them be twin sisters.
