Well, it was fun until the pointless Xander bashing started.

No, Xander made a mistake and got called on it by Faith and Giles. Not exactly Xander "bashing" since it's not a recurring and never ending theme in the story, and it would only be pointless if there was no reason for it or for Xander's character to not grow because of the mistake he made and learned from.

Wow, I'm a little surprised that Willow doesn't really care that she decimated people like she did. Not that they didn't kind of have it comign and all, I just would have figured that now that she's thinking rationally and all, that she'd feel just a smidge of remorse. lol. Loved the chapter and can't wait for more :)

Wow. So it looks like Faith and Willow have gone over to the dark side. Not like the guys weren't asking for it trying to take Mrs. S though. Giles does seem a bit laid back about the whole end of the world. You'd think he'd be busting down doors to find Buffy instead of just going about daily life. Or at least cleaning his glasses repeatedly while muttering a "Dear Lord" ever other minute. Will the Council be of any help in the end? What will happen to Buffy and Alice now that they are becoming "one" with the fire? Update soon so I can find out. Great work!

Willow sure has a temper, nice to see she's holding back (taking prisoners & interrogating and stuff). I sure hope they stop off to pick up Giles on the way...but since there's only 2 days left, they definitely need to hurry.
Umbrella ops definitely deserve whatever happens to them...though I hope Giles realizes that Willow needs help, bad.

While I'd normally be fearful of Willow's dark use of magic, her use on Umbrella was purely justified. Let some board lackey try to explain what happened to their teams. Willow represents that old saying about staring into the darkness for too long and having it stare back. Love her car toss.

Looking forward to what Ripper and Joyce (shudder) will want to do to them. If the Watchers had any hope of getting back into the good, they could put their mercs into helping rather than hunting little girls too. Cool chapter.

YES! Frakking cool dude! Loved this update, but now I am a bit worried about guilty feelings in both Willow and Faith when they come down from their adrenaline highs and realize they have killed Human beings, all be it Evil Human beings. Of course they both know the goons were out to kidnap Joyce and Willow know some of what Umbrella has been doing to Buffy and I suppose Alice, so they should soon get over it. In the back of my head I can hear Will Smith saying, "Now THIS is how to write an action scene!" Lol!

I'm surprised they weren't able to tell it was the Umbrella Corp from the symbol. I thought they were pretty much everywhere. Great chapter! :)

Well Sunnydale isn't exactly the cutting edge as far as being up with the latest and I'd think not very high on Umbrella Corp's (or almost any other corporation's) attention considering their death rate from "gang attacks".

I don't know if it's a matter of being 'better at this', this I think being not holding back. But to say in Willow and Faith's defense, both women feel that Giles wasn't understanding the full gravity of what was going on. For Faith, when she told Giles about the dream with Nemesis and how Nemesis (the dragon) was 'pissed about what was being done to her (Buffy)' Giles dismissed Faith's concerns. Willow saw Giles seeming disregard of Faith's warning and decided that Giles wouldn't understand. So both women were not intentionally deceptive, but to answer your question about Tara....it's no she's not better at it.

Something very poetic about humanity awakening that which destroys them. Eager to see Umbrella destroyed, utterly, completely. Wonder if other seers have seen what Faith has seen.

They will soon enough! Faith just got *lucky* and got to see what Nemesis was planning on doing.

Well, isn't this a fine kettle of fish! I look forward to more of your story, but I must say I don't have much hope for the future. Please keep updating as I find your story both fascinating and horrifying.
