Review of chapter "Fugitives and Freedom Fighters" from Sandi
Review:
I don't see much of the middle east and Africa cooperating. It sounds interesting. The Italians can make shoes and the Asians can harvest the visitors for medicines.
Comments from author:
Yeah well, that's humanity's strength and weakness. We don't work and play well with others... ;)

Review of chapter "A Warm Welcome and a Warmer Goodbye" from CrystalBlaze
Review:
If Kristine Walsh is in any way related to Maggie, would that complicate matters?
ADDENDUM:
I was thinking more along the lines of her getting targeted more specifically for being related to a government-listed scientist..

Kristine doesn't strike me as the mad scientist type...

Glad to see and addition to this story. I liked the original "V" series, (at least the beginning it lost it's luster when it got into human alien hybrid something so unlikely it lost my willing suspension of disbelief, in fact the DNA difference between two worlds might very well make humans indigestible -- rationally speaking.) Your cast of heroes is looking good and I got it that Willow was in holding and not eaten yet, looking forward to the big escape/rescue???
Thanks for coming back to this.
Comments from author:
Glad you're enjoying it...
You'll have to look far forward for a rescue of Willow. I don't plan one for a while... ;)

Review of chapter "Tightening the Grip" from Dhampyr
Review:
You know I almost forgot how dark the original series really was. Turning Willow into space lizard food is an epically bad idea on behalf of the Visitors. Like Xander going apeshit and opening a Hellmouth or two to let the demons take out the Visitors bad. This is the guy that told Buffy, who he actually was in love with, that he would kill her if Willow was hurt because of her actions. Big bads that are already taking over the planet killing his Willow and making her into food?
Yeah, demonic version of Base Delta Zero doesn't seen beyond the realm of possibility.
Comments from author:
Touche...
Though I would point out that the final area just stores living people for food. Willow isn't dead just yet... ;)

Interesting idea but I have to say I think the stargate crossover might of been a mistake. I mean if the Gou'ald, Asguard etc all exist, how do the Vistor's exist? They seemingly travel through space, world after world and eating the people there. How the heck did they seemingly travel through so much gou'ald controlled space without ever running into some one stronger than them? Even if the Gou'ald view humans as slaves, they are THEIR slaves and host. Not something they'd just let any other species destroy and take over.
Then have the Asguard who would probably wipe out the V species, I mean they have a long standing hatred and war with the Gou'ald and frankly their PG-13 good guys compared to the Vistors.

A couple of points of interest that should help explain the plot issues.
The main big one is that neither the Goa'uld, nor the Asgard are aware of Earth at this time. Ra (and his Court) think that Earth's gate is buried and really couldn't be bothered to attack Earth. You'll recall it was only after Earth started becoming an irritant that Apophis came in ships.
The Visitors are a very sneaky and covert race. They live by the Firefly creed of 'sidle up and smile'. They are hoping to stay very much under the Goa'uld radar at the moment.
Also recall the 'force that has defeated them before'. I haven't decided who to make that one yet. It could be the Goa'uld, or it could be another...

Excellent story, don't know how I missed it originally. I like the old V much better than the one they have on tv now. I feel you have a Geeks shall inherit the Earth thing going - love it.
