I like the Xander/Watcher interactions. You clearly show how both are arguing from their strongpoints, and both believe themselves to be in the right. I look forward to any future confrontation.

Got to say I really like how this story has been going and am looking forward to how you are going to introduce the two groups without it blowing up in everyones faces. I mean can you imagine the hulk on the hellmouth. grrr negative emotions bad grrr.
I also like how you take comic character references to the old iron fist comic.
Please keep up the great work

I really should have reviewed before this as I have been reading both your stories as you updated them, and I apologize for not reviewing before.
you craft an amazing tale, taking the common elements of Buffy and fuzing them perfectly witht theIron Fist universe. I had never heard of the Iron Fist before I started reading your story, but I was able to follow along perfectly, something that many crossovers lack.
You manage to bring your characters to life as you write them, showing their feelings and emotions, but also keepign enough secerts that surprises occur.
Your choice of pairing is rather unique and wonderfully written, showing depth and character, not merely having them jump each other right away. I have to say it inspired me for the pairing in my own story.

Keep up the good work, I can not wait to see what happens next.
Comments from author:
You don't have to apologize, and I'm thankful for all the reviews that I get.

I'm glad that even non-readers of Iron Fist are able to follow along, since it's something of an effort to put in enough to explain things without being overly pedantic.

As for pairings, I like choosing some of the more unconventional ones, as it leads to something that hasn't really been all that done before. A non-crossover story I've written is Xander/Vi.

Thanks.

Though this part of your story so far has been well written, I'm glad we're back in Sunnydale.

Enjoyable as always. I may have to sit down and reread the entire series at some point.

Review:
Hoo boy...

THIS is going to be interesting.

Xander leading a revolution in a sacred city with only a couple of Potentials, a couple of Watchers, and a techno-pagan when he only really TRUSTS about HALF of his immediate allies and is now working witha large group of people at an unknown skill level? I don't care how skilled he is, this is NOT going to be easy!

Still not certain about the... devotion Amy seems to have for him back in Sunnydale, of course, and I do think you could have included a few MALE allies for Xander to be working with on a long-term basis- maybe he could have run into Rondell from Gunn's old crew and helped him to channel his energy in a more positive manner than simply "All demons are evil and must die"-, but the Xander/Jenny relationship continues to be interesting for all that.

Keep up the interesting work!
Comments from author:
To be fair, he's more a symbol than necessarily the guy doing all the fighting. It's been planned for quite a while, and they're smart enough to know that the Iron Fist is more effective in swaying people because he is beloved as opposed to him just putting a hurtin' on people.

I think the Amy thing seems odd simply because I glossed over her training with Jenny (for better or worse). And it's that as well, as opposed to simply devotion to Xander. It's not complete, since she is wavering and wanting to wait.

As for the ratio, it tended to work out that way simply because of the usage of canon characters and who I could find in the Marvel canon that would fit what I needed. Also, it balances with the, not yet in the main plotline, male characters such as Nick and company.

Thanks.

Review of chapter "Chapter Seven: Contact" from missinglink
Review:
Hadn't caught up in a bit and am tickled pink at the foray into the tournament. Looks like fun will be had by all. Also is fun having not read the comic side of this seeing just how it will unfold with no clue as to progression.

Now for some reason I seem to remember in the awful movie The In-Laws with Albert Brooks that his character gets code named by Michael Douglas as Fat Cobra. Now all I could do when imagining the fighting with Fat Cobra you described with Albert Brooks in the place of that character and it led to unending bouts of laughter. Don't know if there was ever a reason or connection for that choice, but knowing this is from the comic they likely lifted it for the movie and not the other way around. Try imagining like I did and keep from giggling to yourself, or at least chuckling.

Keep it coming and anxiously awaiting more. Thanks and later.
