Review of chapter "A Little Night Massacre" from Valandar
Review:
You've at least revisited the series - so let's hope you revisit this particular story and continue it!
Comments from author:
I am working on the final chapters, and I realized that some of the pivotal moments are affected by Faith and her antics... and that's all I'll say... more soonish...

Peace,

Blue

I really do love this fic. And I really love your Cordy/Illyria fusion here. Actually it give me an idea... but that's neither here nor there. What is here is that I truly thank you ever so much for writing this, and I wish you a good bye for now.
Comments from author:
I'm very glad that you have enjoyed this story. I want to promise you that you will see the completion of this story within the next few months. I experienced some serious personal issues, which resulted in (or coincided with) a serious case of writer's block, which I only managed to break free of recently. So, I'm hoping that I'll be able to start posting on this as school allows, starting in the next several weeks. Hope you'll be reading then. Very glad that you enjoy my Cordy/Illyria -- that is one of my favorite things about this story too.

Peace,

Blue

PS: Thanks for your patience

Pleeeease update! *infinite puppy dog eyes*

Excellent story by the way.
Comments from author:
Very glad you like my story. Very susceptible to puppy dog eyes! I haven't forgotten it. School is kicking my butt at the moment, but I've written most of the closing chapters. About 80% of what's left to be posted is written. Just the battle chapter(s) and reconciling the final parts with the battle chapters then beta-ing it all is left to be done. I have high hopes of finishing before the year is over, but probably won't post another chapter until I survive a couple more exams.

Peace,

Blue

Yep, a nice little night massacre party, followed by a little case of Big Boom Fireworks to end that part of the party, hell yeah!.

I liked the way the teams fought, they were a really oiled machine, very good, very good, specially the part with Wesley taking out Vail, nothing tops using your head to do such a complex job like he was tasked to do... although, with him being a brit, you could say he pulled a Bond ;).

Cool chapter, see ya!!.

E.T.A.: It was about time for don Mario Vargas Llosa to get a Nobel prize =)!.
My peruvian friends are very happy with this news; I mean, my country already had one with don Octavio Paz, but the more, the merrier =).
Viva Peru =D!!!.
Comments from author:
Glad you enjoyed my team work. I had to give Wesley a chance to do what he should have had the chance to do in the 'real' show.

Yes, he's a cerebral kind of fighter... I like to see when he uses his head as well as brawn and marksmanship to accomplish the task. From being one of my least favorite characters in Buffy, he's actually become one of my favorite Angel characters. Pryce, Wesley Pryce... doesn't sound quite right, but he would make an interesting Bond, wouldn't he? Smirk.

Now, onto the big fight! Wish me luck with the boom! :-)

Btw, what did you think of the Nobel Literature prize today?

Peace,

I love the way your stories always make me self reflect. Really deep stuff that you write and I absolutely adore it. first off love the interaction and closure between Cordy and Conner again crying like a baby. Laughed my ass off at Wesley's reaction to the offered living arrangements Cordy/Illyria suggested, and priceless the shameless ribbing Angel was giving him. Are you sure Angel's not evil? I'm sure Wesley thinks so, LOL.

About time Giles woke up to some Christine lovin. :))

P.S. when they went to washington I was anticipating Booth and Bones to come out of the woodword and confuse the hell out of Cordy and Conner LOL.

Can't wait for more.
Comments from author:
You always write these lovely reviews that make me blush, and also make it so worth it to write all this. Thank you! I'm glad the interaction between Connor and Cordy worked so well for you. I agonized over that. I was afraid it would seem too 'neat', but it felt as if it was necessary if they were to function in the same universe again.

As for Angel being evil... well, he still is a bit demony, isn't he? Smirk. Wesley always wanted to think he was a man of the world... I think he's very put out about the fact that someone can shock him so very thoroughly :-) Angel's not evil in the strictest sense of the word, but he's got a serious schadenfreude where Wesley is concerned... And Wes is such a fuddy-duddy, despite the makeover! He's so much fun to take the mickey out of!

About time Giles woke up to some Christine lovin. :))

hehe... Indeed. You would see it that way...

Well... to quote a story I'm reading, that quotes Elijah Wood of all people:

"In the absence of love, there is nothing worth fighting for."

I think it's over time for Giles to be happy. They tried it twice in the series, but both times it kind of blew up.

Bones and Booth? That would have been interesting... Especially for Connor... a living, breathing version of his dad? I think it would be more interesting for Bones to encounter Angel, however... but that's a whole different story!

Peace,

Blue

At least Giles is having a quite good old time, can't say the same thing about poor Wesley =P.
He's gonna need several drinks of good jamaiquian rum... maybe the bottle too.

Cool chapter, see ya!!.
Comments from author:
Yes, Giles is gonna be getting a happy tonight... Wesley... is just in shock. An indecent proposal, indeed... Two girls maybe, but I *really* don't think Angel's his type! I think Wes may skip the nice Jamaican rum, and go for his best scotch!

Peace,

Blue

Or maybe he just needs some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee... for a little bit of sobriety... hehe...

Review of chapter "Reflections" from Angbard
Review:
That was excellent - the long overdue reconciliation between Connor, and Cordelia. You captured the essence of their personalities so well in that passage of dialogue.

Since they were in Washington D.C.in a public space, I kept thinking about how an NID or SGC operative would have responded to overhearing their conversation!

Angbard
Comments from author:
So glad you approved. I really wanted it to be 'them' and not too sentimental. I'm glad it felt like their personalities came through.

About them being in DC... There's something about teleporting in that makes one awfully hard to trace -- even if someone like the NID were interested in tracking them. However, a fly on the wall would have had an interesting time eavesdropping on that conversation. The reflecting pool near the Lincoln Memorial is a really nice place in the late evening when the sun is setting... peaceful, and often not too many people around.

Sometimes being in a public place feels safer to people who've been in abusive situations. I didn't want to put those two in the middle of nowhere -- or anywhere they would be all alone, after all that happened between them. I don't think either of them would have been comfortable with that intimate a setting. Being away from their friends was probably necessary, however... the location was just my brain's strange answer!

Thanks,

Blue

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I will keep you both in my thoughts. Sorry but for the exam I can only send you positive thoughts for that one. I am really bad at exams. I always take courses with end of course assignments when I can.

This talk had to take place for the story to move forward smoothly and I think you got it just right. Well done you.
Comments from author:
Thank you for your kind wishes. I'm hoping for good news later on today. I appreciate the support so much. As for the exam, it's over, is all I can say for now. didn't do as well as I wanted, but I think I passed. Will find out in a couple hours.

Glad the talk felt right to you. I was afraid it was too much of a tangent, but it felt necessary. Thank you!

Peace and hugs,

Blue
