Review of chapter "A Fight to the Death" from (Current Donor)SamuraiCatFan
Review:
Great chapter. Your research really paid off.

Wonder if the Goa'uld had infiltrated the council and Roger Wyndham Price in particular is not who he appears to be.
Comments from author:
That is a fascinating idea! Roger Wyndam Pryce is one of my least favorite characters, so he's gonna do ugliness!! You'll have to read to find out!

Thank you. I'm so glad you like it. I was afraid it was too ethnic for some people, but I'm very proud of it - particularly now I've had positive feedback from actual Indian folks! India has always called me.

ps: let me know what you think about the next chapter... will be up in a few. ;-)

Review:
So Watchers are killing Slayers' kids or kidnapping them, just to go back to the way things were?! I do hope I missed my guess, because how sick is that?!

I'm just glad that Buffy and General Landry got the others offworld before more Slayers or their children end up dead...
Comments from author:
Very, very, very sick... but all I can say at this point is that they don't all have the same objectives...

There's something really satisfying about an adult Buffy with solid allies!! I was so glad I could go there! :-)

More soon.

Damn poor Arundhati =(. I hope she took some of her attackers with her to the underworld.
So, the fundies watchers are behind this??. Those morons are like some real life politicians, is their way or the highway.

Cool chapter, see ya!!.
Comments from author:
I loved my girl. i wanted to have her live... and yes, she did slash and hack at the knaves of evil (hence the grey arterial blood spray)... It just wasn't enough -- two against a small army of demons, when one is 38 weeks pregnant and the other is a normal un-enhanced human.

Yeah, bad watchers are behind this... their motives vary, but they're nothing good, no matter what.

thanks

Review of chapter "Black Magic Woman" from (Current Donor)SamuraiCatFan
Review:
Mmm, while both the candidates for control of Evil Inc.'s successor and the Council are both focused on children of slayers and witches as being the "special child", the child of Xander and a powerful witch with visions would likely be very quite special herself (and for some reason now I can't but help but think of the movie Live and Let Die-although Kananga did have that whole Baron Samedi guy helping him, and the Baron seemed to have survived at the end of the movie).

Excellent chapter.
Comments from author:
Yes, Xander's gonna make some interesting children... very interesting.... But don't underestimate the power of just being human.

Now, you have me thinking about that movie... I'm gonna have to go watch it again, aren't I? You are a cruel taskmaster!! Fortunately, I only have to go downstairs... Yes, the gods have an interesting way of surviving just about anything!

Glad you enjoyed it. Now, I have to make sure the next one measures up!

Peace,

Review of chapter "Black Magic Woman" from Cordyfan
Review:
Great chapter with a very convincing setting. Interesting take on the role of a Slayer where there isn't so much demonic nightlife, only the human monsters. Looks like Xander has his girl, too.

Keep up the good work!
Comments from author:
Thank you my dear. Glad it seems realistic. I just had to try something different for some of our slayers... I think if Jamaica had a demon problem, it would have made news by now... and our folks at ISWC would have made it there before now...

Yes, Erika has her man! :-)

Thank you!

Blue

EDIT: I think all the demons are in Trinidad, Haiti and parts of South America. the problem is that lots of folks in Jamaica do believe in them, but are much more likely to take up arms against them (and believe me, I'm only half joking)!

I love Erika! She's fabtastic & perfect for Xander. Thank you for another fab chapter
Comments from author:
I'm so glad. Sometimes it's hard when you create an original character b/c the audience doesn't like it. I am very happy she resonates with you.

Thank you.

Yep, Xander is goin' ta be a Jamaican broda full time real soon, oow yeah xD!!!!. Dude, yer gonna enjoy the coffee a lot, and the rum too. Of course the music will be awesome =D!.
Welcome to the Concacaf dude, better enjoy the Soccer games =D!.

Cool chapter, see ya!!.
Comments from author:
Yep, the boy's life is about to change in a big way! It's gonna be fun getting used to the new life! Blue Mountain Coffee is the only coffee I really enjoy, so I mostly don't bother with coffee when I can't drink it. Listening to Bob sitting by the river, eating ackee and saltfish... that's my idea of a good way to wake up!!

Review of chapter "Sunrise. Sunset." from DarthTenebrus
Review:
Nicely written, Blue. The old ways have been, like the Old Republic, swept away. Many changes have come about, most for the better, and the Slayers have gained powerful new allies in the Hunters, the Wizarding World, the Stargate Command, and others. Before long the Slayers will be going up against the Replicators and the Wraith, won't they?

Slayers on other worlds, fighting the good fight...what a thought. If that didn't look like one of Cordyfan's stories, that would be quite an adventure.

And Slayers with impending childbirth being targeted by the demon Mafia...if such a term applies in this case. What, prithee tell me, is going on here?

And it all ends with a Slayer dream. Hoo boy...

Can't wait to see how it ends. If you didn't have me hooked with the Battle of Los Angeles, you do now.

Edit/Reply: Meh, Y E D? What the cheese sticks does that stand for?
Comments from author:
What is going on here? Well, you'll have to wait for the chapter after next to find out... All I'll say, is that it will be a very rough ride for EVERYONE. Brutal doesn't even begin to touch it.

So very glad to know I have you hooked... I really do hope so after nearly 300,000 words...

Well, Cordyfan and I... we definitely have some worldview in common. But we're different people and our stories go in different directions... but, yes, there will be many adventures for our slayers all over the universe!

With all the threats the world faces, aren't you glad that the most innovative, bravest and most dedicated people have found each other and work together to protect it? Because, I tell you, I really like the idea of Blaise on his broom calling down spells on nasty Goa'uld or Ori... or Charles Gunn punching out death eaters... or Faith helping Dean and company obliterate the YED...

YED is the Yellow Eyed Demon from 'Supernatural'. It was the first really big, big bad in SPN - the demon that killed Dean and Sam's mother among others.

Review:
Looks like there is a new or "new old" enemy on the horizon. There are certainly quite a few entities and groups that would like to bring about their own apocalypses now that Wolfram & Hart are out of the way (although I suspect not nearly as out of the way as the Scoobies and their allies would like).

Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Comments from author:
Just because the very big bads aren't obvious doesn't mean they don't exist... and never underestimate the power of old enemies... Wolfram and Hart were an organizing principle. They kept people from trying stuff and they made others band together and fight on the same side... when ever there's a vacuum, someone lower on the pecking order shows up to fill it...

More soonish... Next up: something completely different... but relevant.

So, someone is after slayer's kids??. I hope they're ready for the blowback, because there's nothing more dangerous than a mother trying to protect her children's, just like Faithy did.
Cool chapter, see ya!!!.

caught in a meatgrinder and toasted with a flamethrower... those may feel like the good times when the Slayer Mothers come out to 'play'. A hornet's nest's got nothin' on our fair ladies!

Thanks

Review:
Another well-written chapter. Pregnant or not, Faith can still dish it out to a few demons. No doubt, several demon clans are now scheduled for Slayer training practice...

Nice to see that those humans who were mixed up with W&H are now reaping the consequences, with the Senior Partners gone.

Nasty Slayer dream at the end there, though. I wonder who the enemy is this time?

Thanks for writing this.
Comments from author:
You *really* don't want to threaten anyone or anything that Faith loves. I think some demons are cruising for a little night massacre... cut, burn, poison and anything else that works... but the fight won't end there.

Yup, those consequences, the precious!! I love it when bad things and people get their just deserts! Just imagine! If the Senior Partners hadn't been so greedy and so determined to turn Angel into 'their' guy, they might not have pulled the whole works down on their heads. One should really not mess with anyone who has Buffy as an ex and Dru as family.

Oh, nasty's only beginning to crawl out of its hole... and it's all on you... you went and gave me those things... uhm, yes, ideas. you gave me ideas... Heh Heh. Mwahahahaha...

You're very, very welcome!

Blue

EDIT: Dish it out? Really? Sigh.

And here I thought that Angel just might skip the "apologize to everyone he screwed over" step, ala Chris Moltasanti of the Soprano's. Suspect those are going to be some very "interesting" conversations.

Really enjoying the story.
Comments from author:
No, he really has taken to the program... and this is Angel we talkin' 'bout... Mr. 'I feel guilty for everything' and need to brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrood!! Of course, he's gonna get into the self flagellation!

Sadly (Or happily if you're me) I *won't* be including his 9th step amends. Then, I'd have to take a drink! It's much more fun to show other people's responses...

sadly, I've never seen the Sopranos... may get it on DVD one day.

Keep enjoying!

Review of chapter "The Summer Ball" from Cordyfan
Review:
Looks like lots of pregnancies ahead... Also a lot of potential for heartache, given the differing age lengths of some couples. The idea of immortality makes me uncomfortable, for that very reason.

Good to see that the galaxy is both Goa'uld and Ori free. Any magic involved in combating the latter, or did the PTB perhaps interfere against rival non-corporeal types?

Spike and Angel will never bury the hatchet, will they? Except maybe in each others' heads.

Another excellent chapter - I look forward to the rest.
Comments from author:
Immortality is a bitch if you can form attachments... you get to see how your descendants and their desc
endants live... and die. Immortality should make us uncomfortable. It's not the natural order of things.

There will be more of a Stargate focus in the Charles/Sirius story... otherwise, I'm assuming that much of what happened in canon happened, with a little help from our friends, some of it probably happened faster and with fewer losses...

Spike and Angel... the only way they could bury the hatchet is if they became a couple, and they'd be the kind of killer queens that had loud fights that woke the neighbors and even louder make up sex!

Thank you my dear!
