Review of chapter "Not Sedated Enough" from VillageOrchid
Review:
Your male-to-male conversations continue to be a highlight between angsrytier and action parts of the story.
Comments from author:
Thank you so much!! Writing them was a highlight as well. I'm very pleased that you have been enjoying them.

Peace,

Blue

Review of chapter "Chaos Managed" from VillageOrchid
Review:
Ah, I thought the italics meant it was the original dialog, but I expected some kind of dialogous interuptous, with the italics showing what could have been.
Comments from author:
Nope... sorry... occasionally I use 'strategic' canon dialogue, mostly when I want to establish where we are in comparison to the original story (and if i think it fits). In most cases, it's just a little bit. I don't change things that didn't change. Not everything I have done early on changes EVERYTHING, though it does change a lot of things. Here, Andrew was an arrogant, insecure boy who lets his authority go to his head...

Not sure what you mean by dialogus interruptus...

Review of chapter "Destiny" from VillageOrchid
Review:
A little odd that the books are out there. Looking forward to seeing what was exaggerated or fabricated.
Comments from author:
Well, since the books were mentioned in season seven of Buffy (willow mentioned Giles going "all Dumbledore", I think (sorry it's been a while since i watched my Buffy dvds). I think Dawn mentioned something about not going to Hogwarts in season 5? too). Therefore, it's canon that they exist, so I decided NOT to ignore that.

You'll find my Harry history is a *bit* different from the one in the books...

Review of chapter "It’s been 143 years since my last confession" from VillageOrchid
Review:
An interesting way to connect her to the O'Neill family.
Comments from author:
That's the part that you noticed? heheh... yeah, I have no idea how that happened... it just 'happened'. Fun, huh?

Review of chapter "Friendship or something like it" from VillageOrchid
Review:
I'm enjoying your dramatization of "guy time" in the story. The CSI guys, Giles and Patrick and now Patrick and Xander.
Comments from author:
I like guys. Even though there's a lot of couple time, I really like my guys to get to be 'guys'... and to bond... Very glad you enjoyed it.

Review of chapter "Afterburn" from VillageOrchid
Review:
I like that Dru could tell Spike that Buffy really does love him. Even if it doesn't work out, his shame or ethics about not telling her are ramped up. Maybe Dru can't change as much as she would like as fast as she would like, but small changes make ripples.
Comments from author:
It always annoyed me that the writers had Spike simply 'forget about' going to Buffy. It was so out of character as to be ridiculous. Even if they didn't work out, there's no way he would have not tried. Yes, Dru is playing the role of his conscience and common sense.... yes, small changes do big ripples make!

Review of chapter "Something Stolen.... Something Bruised." from VillageOrchid
Review:
I only saw most of the episodes of both The District and Angel once, so perhaps a little more exposition on the creature... but other than that... the story is working. Mysterious. Hope they can save Fred and stop the rise of Illryria.
Comments from author:
Glad the story is working. The creature is basically a big 'blob' that Eve placed onto Angel to make him so 'altered' he didn't know his destiny or have motivation to do anything... Fortunately, he was partly able to fight it off, then he got rescued! You'll have to keep reading to see what happens with Fred and Illyria! ;-)

Review of chapter "Triple Take - What do you mean Dru has a soul?" from VillageOrchid
Review:
Was Lorne not a factor in her vision. That could prove interesting if he's overlooked by the powers.
Comments from author:
In Angel, it seemed as if Lorne wasn't having 'good' visions once they ended up at Wolfram and Hart. He seemed to miss all sorts of stuff. Either he was compromised or it was bad writing...

Review of chapter "Riding With Lady Luck" from VillageOrchid
Review:
Hope she also checks her car for electronic and perhaps magical bugs/tracking devises. It's possible that the autoshop was independent, but also possible it is connected even if in a protection "racket" from WRH.
Comments from author:
You know, I wish I had thought of that!! I think it's possible that the nice Mercedes dealer didn't want to be eaten and bugging clients might lead to very bad things... (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! :-)

It's my observation that companies that cater to rich people usually don't want to piss them off and discretion is usually prized by wealthy people.

Review of chapter "Restoration" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
Can't believe that only two chapters remain. Loving the resolution between A/C. Cam and Cordelia is a nice pair.

Blaise is a woman? I thought Blaise was a black guy from Potter's world?

Love to see exactly how the not having iyllria's body mate effects her. And would love to read the separation process.

James
Comments from author:
Blaise is most definitely a male -- the person you think HE is. If I somehow conveyed that he's a she, I need to correct that. Please let me know where that mistake is!

I think that Cordy will be OK, though she will probably miss being able to teleport anywhere at will... Not so sure about Illyria... may have to write a side story about that.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that I wish I could cover before 'the end'. The closer I get to the end, the more I think I need to do quite a few little side stories... I have soooo many ideas... sigh...

Very glad you approve of Cordy/Cameron.

Thank you,

Blue

Review of chapter "Restoration" from Mcspender
Review:
Wow, excellent set of chapters!!. Glad to see that Angel found himself a good set of friends in Faith and Robin, and he's willing to live; I mean, the guy is giving Art a try =)!.

So the Asgards gave Cordelia her body back?. Nice to see the little grey guys around, they're awesome like that =D!.

See ya!!.
Comments from author:
Very glad that these chapters spoke to you. Angel is very lucky to have such good friends. He's lucky to have so many 'second' chances. Pity it takes so much for him to see what he has!

Yes, occasionally, the Asgard have their uses... I do like making it possible for them to stick around!

Peace,

Blue

Review of chapter "Restoration" from (Current Donor)vidicon
Review:
Ah good, He's on the wagon and things are looking up. So this is a year and a half later and we'll be getting insights into how things have changed and stayed the same. Is this the split Cordy? I assume so.

Thanks for writing
Comments from author:
Hi Vid!

A lot has changed, but people mostly remain similar... Yes, this is the brand new 'in her own body again' Cordelia! Only two chapters left. I can't believe I got this far!

Hope very much you'll like the last bits!

Peace,

Blue

Review of chapter "Restoration" from Eureka
Review:
So no more Angel and Cord ever? Maybe her and Cameron? So who is Angel going to attach himself to now? Or is he going to do what he originally wanted to do and his Dad refused to allow him as a male of the family?
Comments from author:
At first, I thought Cordelia would forgive him and I wanted them to have a second chance, but that's not true to who Cordelia is. Cordelia moves forward. Yes, I think she and Cameron have a very bright future together. :-) Angel... well, we'll see... I'm thinking art is definitely in his future... I'm sure he'll find someone. He's hot, talented and sober after all.

Peace,

Blue

Review of chapter "Three Weddings and a... Transfer" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
What someone needs to do is lock Angel up in a room with some oils, charcoal, pastels, pencils and about a 1000 canvases.

James, who loved the weddings.
Comments from author:
You know, I think I like that idea. Angel needs to do all those things he resented his dad for preventing him from doing... He needs to get over his past and embrace who he is and who he can be, not who he was.

So glad you loved my weddings. I'm always scared stuff like that is gonna be too 'romance-y'.

Thanks,

Blue

Review of chapter "Three Weddings and a... Transfer" from Cordyfan
Review:
A nice little interlude, with weddings right, left and centre! Not sure I approve of Dawn/Connor, but he may yet turn out to be less annoying than he was on the show (and certainly a better man this his father). As for Angel? They should just leave him to run off and either come to his senses, or drink himself to death, because exactly how many fresh chances should he be given?

Your Faith is a smart cookie, with her point about Hellmouths and burnout.

Great chapter - I look forward to the concluding few.
Comments from author:
Yes, it's a bit... romantic for my usual fare... sigh. I'm not sure I approve of Dawn and Connor either, but they wanted to get married, so I decided not to fight it. Something about a big world saving spell and connecting... Connor's definitely a better person than dear old dad... No, Angel doesn't deserve another chance. Then again, who does?

I love Faith. I think she's grown up real nice! Sometimes looking into the abyss that is your life can be a good thing.

Hope to have your last few chaps very soon.

Peace and love,

Blue
