Watching McKay attempt to get around Carter and ask Dawn about the re-charged ZMPs is like watching two cars crash, you can see it coming and you just go "oh, boy..." Though with Dawnie's Keyness, it might be more like watching a poor critter getting run over by a semi. lol!

I've always enjoyed your Misunderstandings series. All three of thee scenes were fun and/or interesting. I will admit a particular fondness for the "Dawn can charge a ZPM" thing--just dropping the Key thing never made sense to me. However, my favorite part was when Dawn and Buffy were arguing about the first or last letter of the golem right before cutting of the LoTR jokes. Brilliant.
Oops. I blinked on the referenced fic and I think I reviewed that one here, too. Sorry. I really did like them all.
Nice development - but I think you're rapidly approaching the same problem I ran into with Omphalos, giving Dawn godlike powers makes it VERY difficult to come up with anything that really challenges her.

I think this is going to be more about how people react to her power, and how she deals with it when she really starts to exercise it.

I think that McKay is gonna be berserk :)), sputtering and crying at the universe injustice 'cause a "stupid girl" can manipulate space/time and he "The Genius" can't !

When ever Carter can't understand things like Dawn recharging the ZPM, she says that it's impossible, or something like it. I can't see scientists saying it. Did she make similar remarks in the show?
I wonder if the sun blinking out for a few minutes, will draw any attention, eventually when the lack of light reaches an observer.

Hmmm.... now much would Dawn's ability to recharge ZMPs be worth to the military?

This is one of those things that is literally priceless. There is no amount of payment that could induce her to do this, if she didn't chose to herself, nor is there any any threat that they could hold against her. The Key is quite literally a god, in nearly every sense of the word.
