Review of chapter "A moment in time..." from dreameralways
Review:
Just reread this story. It's just so awesome. I love that so much of it is from Teal'c's viewpoint. It gives a unique perspective and I think grants far more respect to Carter than most stories do. This story gave such a lovely twist to the characters and how they fix some of the problems that they have. I just wanted to say thanks for writing.

wow, another wonderful story! loved teh interaction between all the characters and seeing how things played out from primarily blaire and t'ealc's view was really interesting. actually i really enjoyed the parts from t'ealc's view, i haven't really seen a story like that at all and i think you captured his personality and thoughts really well. it was weird seeing jim as a complete unfeeling asshole, but at the same time, you did give us clues that he was acting that way as a defensive mechanism. i think you did wonderfully on everybody's personalities and the plot was really twisty and complicated and very well thought out. don't know that i would have stuck this under the "slash" category, but i can see hints of potential pre-slash between danny/jack and blaire/jim. great work!

"Okay, let's track down our trouble magnet before their trouble magnet gives our trouble magnet an even bigger case of bad luck." lmfao considering i'm used to reading your spander fic, i could almost think they're talking about xander, i never really thought about how all three of the guys are essentially trouble magnets, not to mention the relationship issues, though at least blaire's aren't usually trying to -eat- him lol so glad i stumbled across this one *skips off to read more*

Review of chapter "A moment in time..." from RachelleRyan
Review:
I really admire your take on the SentinelxSG-1 meeting, for once Jim was seen as nothing special and in fact they didn't want him. Considering how big a mashugana deal that is always made about him I definitely agree that in combat he would be a liability.

The Jim bashing did get a bit tiresome after a while, you drug it out a little, however I had to agree with your analysis of his behavior when he is indulging his wanker side. It was a refreshing change to seen him really get called to the carpet.

The creation of a solid social structure of Teal'c's people was also a wonderful innovation. Especially, the teacher/student relationship. In a slave society where you can be taken from your parents at a young age it would make sense to replace that relationship with another positive one. Rather like the master/apprentice or knight/squire of yesteryear. Abuses could happen in these too but the abusers were generally shunned by good society. It seems like you created more surety for the younger half's good living with the option to leave the teacher so the analogy falls apart a bit. However, it was a lively and realistic creation that made me smile.

Daniel and Jack were portrayed extremely well and I could definitely see how Teal'c (and Jack to a lesser extent) would have a difficult time getting Daniel would have a hard time fitting him into a category. Military people like their labels and nice little boxes to understand people and Daniel is such a complex and hardy character. Someone (can't remember who exactly) called him Tigger because he always bounces back. Its his versatility and adaptability that makes this possible as well as his knowledge that he is valuable.

This does seem the major difference between both geniuses. The fact that Blair never had a chance to form long standing relationships (even to a certain extent with his mother) left him very unsure as to his worth in my opinion. This and his lack of confrontational attitude in most things, which you rightly pointed out, do tend to make him react in a way that exacerbates Jim's fear based regressions into assholeness.

All in all an incredibly enjoyable read.

This is brilliant! I only nominally know either show enough to read crossovers about them, but I like how you meshed them together and went really deep into each mythology, subtle yet layered.

This story is great! It so needs (I want) a sequel! I loved seeing SG1 and Blair/Jim working together. I especially enjoyed seeing more about T'ealc and his beliefs and history. I do hope you continue this universe.

Very. Awesome. Story.

Seriously, loved the whole thing. However my absolute favorite line was one of Carter's.

"I have no idea, sir. Give me some time, and I'll make up something plausible." -- That rocked like nothing else.

Like Blair would say "whoa, man..." This was... I'm speechless, really!
It hooked me right from the beginning and didn't let me go 'till I finished reading

I'd really *love* so read a sequel! even if it's just one piece just to know that Blair and Jim are in the right track (and Daniel and Jack too XD)

thank you for you time writing this!!

This epilogue left me with a nice sense that their story will continue - not "happily ever after," but moving forward into a strong future. I really really liked it.
