It's too bad that they have to seperate again. I wonder who was spying on them. Considering that they were in friendly territory, they should be safe. Unless, the spy doesn't want them together for some reason.

Very happy to see another chapter.

I have a feeling that Elrond, at least, would be able to "see" that the boys are soulmates if he bothered to look. And I'm sure Galadriel could if she were consulted. Heck, she might even be able to determine where they came from. Not that she'd necessarily be forthcoming with that knowledge... :)
