"Couldn't happen in a million years" huh? Apparently Xander hasn't been there that long or Mike just doesn't know him that well.
Great job.
Comments from author:
True. If I get around to a sequel, Mike is about to have his world view seriously twisted. But that's OK, he's nothing if not adaptable. And in my view, the Keldara will have a "of course the supernatural exists!" attitude.

Please, please, pretty-please... let me add to the chorus of people saying "we want more!" :P
I always wanted to read a Buffy-Kildar crossover. This was superb :)
Comments from author:
Well, I'll try - but right now I can't figure out how to make the obvious follow-up (taking out the vampire nest) amusing. Hmmm, I'll have to mull it over.
Thank you for the feedback.

Nooooooooooo :) You cant stop! Thats a quite scary combination there ! Definitely warrants further expansion ! If not, still cudos for doing this part :)
Quite nicely done. Now all we need is for Xander to find that Keldara are a long-forgotten descendants of one of the first slayers.... and girls in the valley while all Potentials were not activated due to Keldara secrets.
Seriously, I hope someone writes more xovers with Ringo's stuff.
Comments from author:
Hmm, interesting idea. I can imagine the elder women of the Keldara deciding that no stuffy Council guy was getting one of their girls.
I'm surprised there aren't more xovers - I would think the Special Circumstances book (Princess of Wands) was made to xover with Buffy. Ah well...

Kat is likely to KILL Xander, if not by her claws than by her appetite or her jealousy when he starts attracting other females.
Comments from author:
Xander has managed to avoid being killed by his dates, thus far - but come to think of it, that is because the crew barged in and rescued him! I don't think any of the other women in the Keldara valley are nuts enough/suicidal enough to challenge Katya.

I loved this cross. And it was so good seeing Anya back in action. Nice to see she is moving up in the multiverse. I hope we get to see more of Xander's and Mike's adventures because Mike is going to freak and I'm sure the Keldara are going to go "Yeah, so?" and then kill lots of demons. Lol! I shudder to think of the world's chances if Katya had been called as a Slayer. Lol!

Good beginning. I look forward to more of this story.
As another reviewer has already stated, the third story in Tenhawk's Seal Team 13 series, "Seal Team 13: Alpha Squad", is also a crossover with Ringo's Paladin of Shadows series.
Not a 10 cause it just ends!!!! Wonderful story and I've had the same thought about Xander fitting in just fine with all of the Keldara. Had not considered the Katya angle but it's scary and somewhat fitting. I hope you continue this but if not, thanks for sharing your ideas.

I've read John Ringo's Kildar series and had no trouble following and enjoying the story, but I don't really think there is enough background / detail presented for readers who haven't read Ringo's work to really appreciate the characters.
Comments from author:
Thank you for the kind comments. I love Xander, but find him very difficult to write.
Yeah, it's always a problem with crossovers - putting in enough information to make the story intelligible, without committing info-dump.
