A very cool start. I look forward to seeing how Xander adjusts to being female and quite possibly EXTREMELY powerful.
However, there is one really odd occurrence in your story right at the end. Why is Willow still there? When the spell ends, she should have disappeared and went back to her body, yet you have her crashing to the floor, saying 'ow' and getting up. Seems like a big mistake, since the basis is a bet about Willow going as a ghost. Alternatively, you could have Wanda teleport her body in beforehand, but she still can't crash to the floor as she's a ghost.
Apart from that, it was a really good chapter and I definitely look forward to more.

nice you caught that. It is part of the story and i did do that intentionally. If you read on you'll see why that happened and repercussions that follow it.

I can't say I am too surprised. Janus is all about the chaos, and Wanda Maximoff's powers are ALSO all about the chaos, Chaos Magic and probability manipulation. If Xander retains those powers, Janus would be pleased. Thus, he's still in Wanda's body, chaos-aspected mutation and all.
Buffy will be in interesting shape for a long time after this, to be sure. Will she be putting Xander, nay, Xandra up? One hopes so as there's NO WAY IN HADES the poor girl is letting Tony Harris near her..

Scarlet Witch, or a variation there of, also known as Wanda Maximoff. Bet the DC tie in comes from the world being a fusion of Buffy and one of the DC universes. Might be interesting, good for a laugh or two if nothing else.

yep you got it right. it is one of the earths of the DC multiverse that happens to encorporate the buffy verse. i didn't think it was such a stretch to have a marvel cross into the world since i read somewhere that even thouh they're considered different multiverses they are stilll considered part of each other.
How like buffy to make a bet that doesn't involve her actually suffering the consequences. I do hope there will be fallout from the fact the it was her and Cordelia who landed Xander in this predicament.
I don't recognize the crossover at all but the beginning is intriguing. I don't particularly like stories where Xander's sex is changed (especially if he get stuck that way permanently) but I do like what you wrote so I'll give it a try. Oh--I also like how the Scarlet woman responded to Willow about the obviousness of what caused the spell.
