Wonderful start! I love Ghost Rider! More!! MORE!!!

Great start... I know the tags said Marvel - Earth 616, but i had to ask anyway......... is Xander's Ghost Rider a Zarathos copy or is he the "Spirit of Vengeance"? Judging from the chains, I'd say "Spirit" but since Marvel standardized Ghost Rider's abilities to include almost every incarnation currently there, I just had to know.

Thank you, gunsmith. Coming from you and what you did in The Iron Tau'ri, that means a lot. Xander's Ghost Rider won't be Zarathos or a copy. More like as you are suspecting as a Spirit but this Rider will be different obviously because of the Hellmouth.

Great premise! I am looking forward to reading more. Xander became the Ghost Rider because of Ethan Rayne's chaos spell on Halloween. The Rider didn't have any special powers in the daytime in his human form. Was Xander out patrolling one night, and the rider just manifested? How did the others react to Xander becoming the Rider? How did XANDER react? Did Buffy try to slay him? On the series, and in all of the fics I've read, Xander's parents were...not so good. Did the Rider manifest to take care of his parents? When the Halloween episode happened, the Scoobies were still in high school. They still had Spike and Dru to face, the Order of Taraka, Angelus and Acathla, the Mayor, and a lot of other things. Will those be added to the story? I'm looking forward to the next update.

Kayron, thanks for the compliment but the Ghost Rider doesn't manifest until Kendra's death. I will explain in the next chapter why it didn't manifest beforehand when it could have been useful. I'm too much of an Angelus fan to completely destroy that arc. In this story, the main enemy is Wolfram & Hart and this also serves to explain things to Xander so that he can better explain things to the Scooby Gang in the second story of this series.

1) Thanks for the compliment. Since I've hit a snag with another story I'm trying to write, I decided to take a swing at this. Actually, I've been stewing this idea within my head for a few days trying to work it together.

2) Where I'm headed with the first story in this series is merely set between Seasons 2 & 3. This story will mainly detail Xander's actions in LA and explain why it happened. The second part of this series will (probably) be a Xander/Faith story because I don't see Faith going dark in this version with the little fact that her Watcher is still alive and Kakistos is dusted.

3) The answer Diana gives is rather accurate when you consider she ran away to LA leaving Sunnydale without a Slayer.

4) Buffy-bashing, maybe a few jabs but considering Xander is in a sense running away to LA I don't see much in that department.
