Interesting premise. How about an easy solution for Maggie Walsh? NID got a little clone happy with a doctor that they knew had no moral limits but was loyal to their agenda so they decided to clone her in clone-O-matic of your choice and she is secretly placed in about a dozen different amoral top secret projects. Occasionally one of her clones goes AWOL But never against the NID itself or the US but rather she gets a little to ambitious and a project will blow up in their face. Even then the research and techniques she develops even in failed projects readily apply to multiple other projects. The fact that she is otherwise the perfect administrator by the NID standards well it is icing on the cake. Part of the soldiers training in any of her projects is absolute programed loyalty to her and the organisation. And if with a little tweaking the experimentation on soldiers and hostiles alike can be written off on the dead clone that they simply claim was flawed as the other Maggie Walshes would never do such a thing right? And worse case scenerio their memory suppression techniques are advanced enough that they can repress the mental connections between the clones...
It would be a scary thought as to what other projects she might be on... ~Reflections
Good call not giving Xander claws. It'd be so unoriginal.
If Xander is immune to Leech’s power negation, then Magneto might hypothesize that Xander’s blood could be used to create a “vaccine” against the Cure developed at Alcatraz. To prevent this from happening, SHIELD might be forced to take Xander into custody and fake his death, otherwise America would face dangerous mutants that can’t have their powers removed by the Cure. Nick Fury and SHIELD could give Xander a new identity elsewhere in the Marvel Universe, bringing him into contact with non-mutant superheroes.

Possible and interesting...
Glad you noted that Leech wouldn't affect Xander. I was curious if anyone would...
Very nice giving Xander such a subtle power. Some say that magic has an electromagnetic componenet, hence why it disrupts technology, so with the right training, Xander could build up low-level resistance to radiation, electricity, and photon bombardment.
Could the psychologist Doc Samson help out Xander?
Later on, it’d be cool if Xander got a job at Stark Industries, or the Daily Bugle, or Culver University where the Hulk was born. Xander might want to live like a normal person and contribute to the Xavier Institute. Yes, I’m a big fan of Robert Downey Jr’s interpretation of Tony Stark and Iron Man.

By the year, I've pretty much implied the summer after Season 6... As for the rest, all will be revealed eventually...
