Review of chapter "As You Were, Revisited" from Althalus
Review:
Great story. With even greater potential. I'd like to see your idea put in writing.
Who knows, the Scoobies might be a great addition to Rainbow.
Comments from author:
We'll see. Rainbow is a few years into the future at this point since this is before Jack becomes President.

Review:
I really liked Buffy's new man. All the digs at Riley were good, too.
Comments from author:
Yeah, Chavez it quite the tasty treat and a much better match for Buffy than Riley. He's macho too, but I see him as more of a 'challenging each other' macho rather than a 'I have to be better than you' kind. The mere fact that he tried to justify his paying vamps to bite him showed me that he is reckless, selfish and insane. At least Ford was under the delusion that the vamps would turn him, therefore saving him from a painful, drawn out death. Riley just did it because he was pouty.

Review:
Great update. Aww, poor Riley. He thought he was still better than Buffy. Too bad that the DMP job was a front. Loved Spike playing with Riley even though he was a bad boy.

One problem, couldn't you have had Sam hear about the vamp whoring. :)
Comments from author:
Figured that if she didn't die, Buffy wouldn't have settled for DMP. But it seemed like a good way for them to meet and him feel superior to her, only to have it backfire on him in the end. Spike always loves messing with people's minds, especially since he can't physically hurt them anymore.

BTW, who's to say she *didn't* hear it? You never know who might be standing back at their staging area or even outside the crypt, waiting for him to be alone.

I like this.
Comments from author:
Thanks. I find two smaller people who are among the most dangerous in the world being in love with each other a treat.

Review:
"Riley asked in a barely controlled voice. He didn’t expect her to be with anyone. And certainly not someone who looked like Xander could take down".
Riley, you did not say that about Ding ese. An angeleño like him, can kick your butt six times from here to the next week, el es un vato bien pesado, compa(He's way bad ass, dude), and don't think you can diss a legend like mister C, 'cause he's even scarier than Angelus, ese... I'm quite a fan of Ding Chavez and Mr. Clark , as you can see =).
Ya know, I always wanted to see Clark vs. Angelus; any chance to see that fight ;)??.

See ya!!.
Comments from author:
What fight? Angelus would be dust before he even knew Clark was there! Actually, what could really be some fun is the Council goons trying to come after the Scoobies or something and running into Ding and Mr. C - I doubt even vamps could track the remains when they were through with them.

Review:
WOW that was one pairing i didn't see coming and i think it works. I think that having a new slayer come in and let Buffy and the others to go work with Rainbow would be great.
Comments from author:
I just always want to give Buffy a chance to live outside of slaying. It seems so unfair that she doesn't even get the opportunity to leave Sunnydale without being accused of abandoning her sacred duty. Sheesh, it's not like she signed up for it or anything! Can you picture Oso's face the first time he spars with Buffy? RotFLMAO!!!

Review:
Looks pretty good. You seem to be going by the book timeline.

Has _The Sum of All Fears_ (and Denver) happened yet?
Comments from author:
I hadn't really picked a specific book - except for obviously after they became partners. And in 'Debt of Honor' that was the first time I remember Chavez dating Clark's daughter. I could be wrong. But anyway, I wanted him to meet Buffy before that happened or else there could be trouble and I like both the guys too much to cause them heartache like that. I probably will have to decide before the next oneshot though, huh?

Review:
Hi!
I do not know the characters you choose for this sequel, but there was nice Reilly-bashing so it is fine.
Will certainly read the next sequel as well.

Comments from author:
They are from the Jack Ryan 'verse. In 'Clear and Present Danger' they were introduced during the President's undeclared war on drugs. Clark was the CIA agent who ran the ops and Chavez was one of the soldiers. After the book, Chavez became Clark's partner in 'troubleshooting' around the world. Even though the actor from the movie was only 5'7", the character is one scary-a** guy. Even more after he learned from Clark, who is downright terrifying to be on the opposite side of. Especially in his pre-CIA days. ('Without Remorse')
