Review of chapter "Transitions I" from bigreader
Review:
Quite interesting. Wish he had some of Magneto's power. But good story telling.
Comments from author:
Well, I like to think that good story telling can be done without pulling out too much...

Wait and see just what happens, you might enjoy where things finally go.

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it.

Review of chapter "Transitions I" from kayron
Review:
I like Xander's addition. He always did everything that he could to help his friends. Now he is wiser and more mature. Now he is able to talk to and advise his friends from a more experienced viewpoint. I thought his talk with Jenny/Janna was just right. There were no accusations, just an acknowledgment. He helped Cordelia see that she had more changing to do before she was ready for a real relationship, and acknowledged the same about himself. With his knew insights, he realized the potential danger from Willow, and let Giles and Buffy know so that they could be on alert. He took the blinders off of his eyes, and realized that his 'bestest friend ever' could become what they have to stop.
Comments from author:
Glad you liked it. I always thought it was in Xander all along, we see enough of it through out the show, just always cast aside once the moment's over.

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it.

Review of chapter "Transitions I" from TheLaughingMan
Review:
I'm REALLY hoping for Xander to get more of ol Mags' power. Maybe he will come upon a situation where he needs that power, like the Initiative, and he has somebody do a spell to grant that power or he may already have it but is afraid to use it.
Comments from author:
Wait and see. I know how things are going to go, in the end at least. But, most of the fun is in the journey. ;)

Thanks for the review.

Review:
I'm loving this story, a couple things I noticed in this chapter though.... near the end you have 'I was I didn't' I think it should be 'wish' not 'was'.... and earlier in the chapter you call Ford 'Billy Fordman' it was 'Billy Fordham'.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it and I went and fixed those errors, thanks.

Review:
Excellent update with some interesting insights into Our Heroes and their personalities. At the end of the update your write: β€œI was I didn't.” β€œMe too.” I think you meant "I wish I didn't." All in all, I am enjoying your story a lot but it has a definite melancholy feel to it. I can't wait for more.
Comments from author:
Yeah, missed the last little mistake I made. Fixed now.

Thanks for the review.

Review:
This is very well done. I've rarely seen the consequences of that spell examined in the way that they probably should have been. That would be a mind-shaking experience even in the better cases. In this case.. well, the experiences I've had were nearly enough to convince me that humanity is beyond hope. I imagine that Magneto's would have been quite enough to do just that. Xander's got seven different kinds of psychological hell to work through and it isn't going to be pretty.

One thing that needs mentioning. This sort of keep Willow away from knowledge thing? It's probably going to backfire. When she finds out, and she probably would, it's likely to drive a big wedge into their friendship. One of the problems with Willow was always that she'd been a nothing before both her peers (Cordelia among others) and her parents. This will most likely convince her that Xander really doesn't think much of her either. At least that's the best case scenario. The worst case is that he's right and it will bring on the exact results he's trying to avoid.

That said, it does sound like the sort of thing Magneto would do so it does work pretty well regardless.
Comments from author:
I know.

Glad you liked things as they were so far, as the next few chapters are mainly going to be snippets and scenes of the rest of the season, well... heh.

Glad you enjoyed it so far, and thanks for the review

Review:
Excellent... very good profile of Magneto. I would love to see more. Thanks for writing =)
Comments from author:
Magneto's always been my role model for a great antagonist. Strong willed, trying to do the right thing, but flawed or scarred in a way that makes a lot of what they try to do turn around and become twisted.

Glad you enjoyed the fic, thanks for the review.
