Hello, I just reread this story and still loving it. I just wondered will there be any confrontation between Willow and Tara or will Tara wish to be kept a secret from Willow? I hoped there is confrontation between them because she deserved the dressing down after everything she has done to Buffy and siding with Kennedy instead of her.

Will there be a new chapter soon? I can't wait for confrontation between Buffy and the Scoobies along with the slayers.

Musie and I haven't decided if Tara should be seen or not. Guess it depends how crazy Willow gets when she sees Buffy's alive. I'll try to poke Musie into working on updates.

I'm a little shocked at some of the guesses. It's not as if I expect everyone to get it right - 'cause it wasn't a blockbuster hit or anything - but I thought I managed to exclude a couple fandoms with my description.

Hope you will update this one soon. I can't wait for Buffy taking and bonding the Slayers powers. Especially Kennedy's, I really don't like that girl. She is a spoiled, selfish and cruel brat and that's is a soft way of saying what I really think of her.

I hope you won't bring any other Scoobies back in Buffy's grace. I had it with Willow, Xander and Giles they are the old Council in disguise. The Dawn and Faith in your story acting more mature than in the series and with them I can live. But those three, they did everything I don't like in friends. They are not trusted.

I really hope you update soon and won't forget this story. In the meanwhile I enjoyed your other stories.

I haven't really decided whether the others will learn anything or not. Guess that even if she allows them in her Council doesn't mean she has to forgive them...right? I didn't really want to include Dawn either, but the challenge sorta required it.

Excellent story. I get the impression Xander will be a Defender, as if he actually died, they're already pulling people out of Heaven. :P

But aside from that, the counseling scenes are kind of interesting (that is, getting them to go, and benefit after). It makes a great deal of sense, but doesn't happen often in stories. Probably due to the action-filled nature, partly due to Buffy having been involuntarily institutionalized. So for most approaches, the ground covered is fairly virgin. :-)

I think so many of the problems of the past couple seasons of BtVS were due to lack of psychological support. If it were up to me, they would have had a counselor from season 1 on. Flutie was sort of a geek, but at least he had that right.

Great chapter! I have NO idea who the student is, though. But that may be b/c my mind's been muzzy for a week with this damn flu! Seriously, that's why I hadn't reviewed yet, I had a raging headache & could barely look at a computer screen. I am excited for the more smoochies, loved what we got though! So cute!

I'm not usually a Highlander fan, but something made me want to try this one. And I'm so glad I did! Good to see a self-confident Buffy, after the emotional battering she took in seasons 6 and 7 (well, long before that, actually). I can't wait to see Kennedy receive her come-uppance - and unless something happens that results in a major change of heart, I'm guessing someone/something more powerful than Buffy will decide to strip Willow's powers, too.

Can't say I'm missing Xander either. The number of stories on this site where the author dares to kill him off could be counted on one hand (I think you've managed it twice, at least, elsewhere), whereas the other characters are killed off much more frequently. Personally, I always thought he was a red shirt waiting to happen from an early part of the series (no skills, no sense...)

Buffy's situation is helped by the fact that her advisors - at least most of them - have gobs and gobs of experience...as opposed to everyone in Sunnydale. Even Giles is a babe in the woods compared to most of the Immortals.

If I could get away with it, I'd kill off Xander in every story; that, or have him not exist in the first place.

So, Phoenix and Methos have FINALLY kissed! And it was one FANTASTIC kiss! Now, lets see who this pupil is. I think it might be someone from Scarecrow and Mrs. King or Get Smart. Only time will tell.

I wanted Buffy and Adam to have a hint of romance before she had to face the people from her past.

I think that the idea of all the Immortals sitting down with either Sydney, Tara or Darius is a very good idea! It will give them a chance to deal with any problems that they might have had over the centuries or Millenniums that Adam has been around.

Omg, can you just imagine the counseling sessions for Death?

I like the fact that Buffy asked Whistler/Hermes for some advice. It shows that she is thinking logically on the situation that has come up. And I think that if Whistler DOES show up again, it should be to visit the Watcher's Council and explain what is going on! If that happens, there are going to be a few watchers and Slayers who are NOT going to be happy about this!!

It's always a good idea to get clarification on what's allowed and what isn't.

And yes, some people will be *very* unhappy.

I'm glad that B and F had a chance to have a chat. And with B's powers as the Queen, I think that there are going to be some serious grumblings with the Watchers Council. I have only one thing to say: TOUGH! If they think that they are better than humans, they DO NOT deserve to be Slayers!!!

Since I want Faith to play an important role in Buffy's new Council, they have to be close when Buffy takes over the Slayers.

So, Darius is back and he brought FRIENDS! I think this group that came back will be a big help to the new council. And I think that Tara and Cassandra will really get along well. With both being witches, their love of magic will help them to be a good team together.

I couldn't help myself. The idea of having some other specialized help for the group was too good to pass up.

Well, Connor just got the low down on Phoenix. And I think that this will give the rest of the Immortals a reason to remember what she is here for, and what they are here for as well. And I STILL prefer Sean as Ramirez, versus Connor.
