Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty-Four: Second Time's the Charm" from Rissah
Review:
I am probably not as knowledgable about the Star Wars universe as most, sometimes I struggle to follow along. That aside, I'm enjoying the story as you weave it along and am looking forward to coming chapters. I hope to see some further interaction between Padme and Buffy as it seems at odds with Buffy's force bond ability.

Nicely done. Waiting patiently for more of the saga to be revealed.

Great chapter! Yeah. Wish she could keep up her slayer dreams and slayer strength on top of what the force supplies...as opposed to just force visions. Maybe mix em up? Could Sineya be involved?

First off thank you for a wonderful story, and I love the way you portrayed her. I had some free time and I read the whole thing in one sitting. I have been on a Buffy/Star Wars kick for about a month now and have developed some strong opinions on certain things. The biggest one is on the death of Qui-Gon. The stories that follow original storyline with him dying don't really bring anything new to the story and they become kind of tedious and long because there is nothing really new. The couple that I have read with him living to take Anakin on as his padawan has given the stories a new direction.
Another thing I have found is that after watching the movies reading books and some fanfiction is that the whole concept that the Jedi counsel it that clueless about what the Sith is doing right under their noses just doesn't work. This was one of the problems with the movies I had when they first came out.
I guess what I am trying to say is that the council needs to get a clue ,Lucas just made them to oblivious to what was going on and that just did not work for me. The council Qui-Gon and Buffy having a clue that something is wrong would bring more balance to the story as I have alway thought that Lucas was more interested in special effects of the battle scenes than in the story line.
I know that I probable am going to get flayed for these opinions but I think that the Jedi sniffing out clues, searching for answers would be a better store than blindly going to their doom.
Comments from author:
Oh no, I know what you mean. I kind of got myself into a bind with this story because I didn't know what I really wanted out of it at the beginning. But after this one (since I'm planning, hoping on making it a series), it's heading into more of an AU direction. I want to do different things and set it up so that it makes more sense that the Council didn't detect Sidious. I'll be doing more of that in my next story, when I focus on Buffy's training.

But the Jedi certainly won't be blindly going to their doom. Not if I have anything to say about it. ;)

Nice. Though there are a couple of other Star Wars crossovers that follow this pattern, yours manages to retain its own identity. Bonus points for Buffy not cleaning the clocks of Maul and Dooku.

Truly amazing!
The outcome of this chapter was mostly predictable jet somehow you managed to put in some surprises.
You have set an interesting stage for future chapters with Obi-Wan accepted for his Trials.
There are so many interesting possibilities for this setting!
I honestly can't wait to read more.
Please ad another chapter asap!!!

P.S.: I like that you have chosen a female Exile. I always liked the female Exile better.

The moment I read Force Bonds I immediately made the connection with KoToR 2, I have the game on my deskstop actually, love it. And I also love the Exile, powerful Buffy will be.

Excellent addition to the story. And an understandable reason why the Jedi feared the Exile.

It was a good chapter even though you struggled with it. I found the reactions and inter-reactions of the Jedi masters to be the strongest part, although Buffy's thoughts made good reading too. And so now we're off to Naboo !

I'm pretty sure I've already told you this a million times (OK, if not that much, than at least a couple hundred), but I love how you capture the Jedi Council and the intricate ties between all the members. You can see each distinct personality and how it influences their decisions on whether to accept Buffy and Anakin into the Order.

I can't wait for the next update!

Loved the Dooku interaction, and how he kept her slightly off guard, while still being friendly. Thanks for the update!

Pre-evil Dooku? Now I'm curious why Buffy was uncomfortable with the training saber. Would meditation bring Sineya to the table? Still a great story.

It was a fun chapter and a good portrayal of both Buffy and Dooku there. I'll be happy to see them go off to Naboo though and what you have planned for there.
