I really want to know what happens next in middle earth though. Update?
Comments from author:
Oh man, I really need to start writing again. Real life distracts or else I get a new book or video game, and I neglect my story. Shame on me. The next chapter is back in ME. I'm anxious to get them to Rivendell already!
So glad you updated! Another great chapter, as always.
I had a good laugh over Buffy and Legolas' behavior, they need couples therapy! And they were even interrupted before they could finish talking, damn those orcs!
Now slutty McSlut Buffy is having some serious remorse issues, Legolas is seeing just how different his culture is from Buffy's, and hopefully Willow will have enough sense to...nah, Willow and sense are not even on the same planet right now. Okay, then, let's hope Dawn can get the "marble" away from Willow safely.

Thanks for updating!!! Wonderful chapter as always. Poor Buffy and Legolas...it's just one misunderstanding after another. I really don't like Willow...she irritates me to no end. I assume that's the effect you were going for:) I felt the same way about her in Season 6. Can't wait for more.

Yeah, I love this story! So glad you updated. Can you kill Willow off? I liked her the first couple of season of Buffy, but then she got irritating. Maybe you could just remake her into cute Willow after she is detoxed of the bad Willow.
I love Buffy fanfiction even to this day. At first it was Buffy/Angel centered until I discovered the wonders of crossovers. I was a bit skeptical as to Buffy/LOTR but can I just say WOW. I started reading your story earlier tonight and it is now 4 in the morning, I just couldn't stop. Your story is wonderfully detailed, so funny at times I laughed out loud and had me desperately clicking ahead to see what happens next. I was so relieved that your last update was only a couple of months ago and pray to God that you get time to finish it. More than anything I want to see how this ends.
Your definately one of the best authors I've read, please keep writing!

Wow, what a sweet and wonderful review! This just made my day!
I pray to God that I have time to finish this, too! But not to worry, Chapter 32 is nearly complete. It's just a matter of finding the time to work on it and getting it just the way I want. I've been out of the country for a couple of days, and I have a 3 and 1/2 year old daughter to look after. Plus, my in-laws are visiting, and my husband and I are doing a show! So, busy all around, but anxious to finish this story. After all, it's been four or five years since I started it! But since I hate it when stories are abandoned, I'm determined to see it through to the end. (And I do know how it ends!)
Thanks for the review. I'm so thrilled that you're enjoying the story. It inspires me, and gives me confidence!

Uh-oh Willow's got a palantir, so you know it's not going to end well!
She's in the grip of her addiction here, so any solution to the problem will be about what ~she~ thinks will fix it, rather than any group consensus. I'm curious about how you're planning to resolve her crisis, after all Tara's alive in your story so perhaps she's the answer.
Meanwhile back in ME Buffy's squirming with embarrassment & shame, & that's before Legolas even wake's up! I can only imagine how she'll behave when he does. It never rains but it pours, right?
Wow. This story is AMAZING! I've stayed up until after 2am (way past the bedtime for a mommy of a three year old lol) just to finish it. I kept trying to tell myself that it wasn't going anywhere and that I could finish in the morning and then I'd counter with just one more chapter and before I knew it I'd reached the end of the last chapter. So amazing, I CANNOT wait for more! You have a real talent for writing and I eagerly await more!!

I've got a three-year old too! And I stay up way too late writing this, just like you stayed up too late reading! Oy!
Chapter 32 is in the works. I'm eager to finish, although I'm not really even close to the end!
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm so glad you love the story!

She has a palntir??? this fic has been 100 hotdogs awesome, funny, weird, stressful, and long all at the same time. I have completely enjoyed every moment of it :) I hope that the chapters get better and they come more often :)

Yep, Willow with a palanitr. Scary, huh?
100 hotdogs? Cool! So glad you're enjoying it! I'm writing chapter 32 little by little, so hopefully it won't be long!
Interesting story, but I believe a charge of Willow-bashing can be leveled at this point. You’re making her out to be far worse than she was in canon in order to make her an outright villain for your story.
EDIT: She killed her lover's murderer and then tried to kill his cohorts - I was cheering her on for more torture and less quick and merciful kills. Her friends should have been helping her, not trying to stop her. Then that whole "Um, I suddenly feel like ending the world for no real reason...ok, I'll go for it!" thing never really made sense and was glossed over fairly quickly next season. Go Dark Willow...
Comments from author:
Ummm...if you'll remember she was the Big Bad of Season Six. Don't you recall how she became an addict, messed with everyone's minds and then when Tara died she went crazy and killed people then attempted to end the world? 'Scary, veiny Willow', indeed.
You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I have absolutely no intention of bashing Willow. I am not even going to go so far as making her the villain. She's misguided and unwilling to believe she was completely wrong. It's called justification, and everyone does it.
NEW EDIT: Let me get this straight: you condone going on a killing rampage (including trying to kill your friends as well as your enemies) and yet the Willow I've written is an "outright villain"? I'm afraid I couldn't disagree more. Willow has never been able to deal with grief in a healthy fashion, always looking for a quick fix (see "Something Blue") without thought to the consequences. My Willow is pretty similar to canon Willow. She's done something horrible and think she's trying to set it right. That's not being a villain, that's being human.
