Review of chapter "Providing Succor and Scholarship Part the First." from Dusel
Review:
Hah, this is like the second story I've read about Drusilla being somewhat on the side of good and I have to say, it's just as good as the first! 10 out of 10 mate, top score.
Comments from author:
Drusilla's not good, she's Drusilla...and insane.

Darn those moths. They'll rat out anybody in return for a nice light. Have to say I am loving the idea of the scoobies finally getting around to recruiting this slayer & finding her already trained, and gushing about how neat Drusilla is. Heh. While batman etc don't know what to make of either one.

"...for what would be more insane than a vampire that helps those that would kill vampires?.."

LOL reading that line, because it so perfectly describes Dru. ;-)

It's great seeing all this Drusilla love.

Review:
That actually kind of made sense. Heh. How Spike put up with her mood changes for a century I'll never know. That boy had low self-esteem issues.... I kind of hope Council recruiters show up to recruit her & find her having tea with Drusilla. Maybe Willy the bartender has moved to Gotham to get away from all the craziness?
Comments from author:
Dru and William were both the worst sort of people to be turned. They started out as genuinely nice. Liam and Darla were both pretty mean and amoral to start with so they stayed bad.

Review of chapter "Rites and Passages." from AllenPitt
Review:
ok, so Dru has a slight overbite problem. It's still rude to stare! Now Dru should explain how she's a vampire with a soul, on a mission of....ok, maybe not. Though it'd be funny to do the whole Angel thing for a minute.
It'll probably take months for the scoobies to get organized enough to start contacting all the slayers that have been called, might be a while before they get to Gotham.
Meanwhile Dru is probably puzzling the heck out of all the hero types in gotham....

Confusion thy name is Drusilla, the vampire with a...grip on reality problem?

Review of chapter "This Home is Where my Heart is." from AllenPitt
Review:
No question, Drusilla is one of the most interesting characters of the entire series (and the only major vampire to survive it, come to think of it). Harmony doesn't count, heh. Also much more powerful than many realize, due to the whole thundering loony part. She's killed a slayer (at least one)-how many vampires can say that?
And now the heroes of Gotham think she's a new superhero. that is kind of funny... Just imagine if a regular slayer shows up and attacks her, they'd probably protect her...
Comments from author:
Not counting Spike or Angel of course...

Actually Gotham's heroes aren't really sure what to make of her and neither is she.

Preaching to the choir here. Juliet Landau always knocked it out of the park, and she always had fantastic dialogue.

Very definitely a quite different view of Gotham, and one I find quite interesting.

What is Dru going to do with the new Slayer?

It's Dru, so it could be almost anything...

Review of chapter "A Change of Season. Part the Second." from Cordyfan
Review:
I'm not usually a fan of Batman crossovers, but this is different. The character of Drusilla is a perfect fit for the Gotham atmosphere you've created and it's a very different take on her from normal. Keep up the good work!
Comments from author:
I've always loved Dru, and I love fanfic that takes non-stereotypical looks at her madness. She has always struck me as quite intelligent, however her interface to the outside world is twisted by the combination of her visions and her damage from Angelus.

This is my valiant attempt to do a NON-stereotypical Dru story.
