Review of chapter "Out of the Cupboard, into the Burrow" from twlight
Review:
I love this. I love how Molly reacted when she learned about how Dawn and Harry were being treated, the fact that she didn't start going postal is wonderful. I eagerly await the next installment of this wonderful story.

Review of chapter "I Can't be a Witch, I'm Just Dawn" from twlight
Review:
This is a wonderful start to a hopefully wonderful story, I eagerly await the next installment.
Comments from author:
I will try to do my best to get it out promptly. I've got a lot of WIPs and school has to come first.

I admit, I was most unsure about your premise, but I say you did a marvelous job with the exposition. Very believable and I'm eager to read more.

THank you! I have more worked out, but as yet unwritten.

Review of chapter "I Can't be a Witch, I'm Just Dawn" from MistofRainbows
Review:
I have to say it's interesting to see a more studious Harry that actually reads his books, go Dawn for being a good influence. Hopefully you continue the tale.

Awesome. Found a review of yours I hadn't replied to yet. (Your email isn't in your profile, so I couldn't email you)
Some either people have brought up negative reactions to the H/D thing, and I kinda wanted to share how I think.

On the topic of bi!Harry. I know he was completely straight in canon. This isn't canon. This is fanfiction, in which it is perfectly acceptable to write what you want. Just as it's perfectly acceptable for you, as a reader, to say you don't want to read it. There are a lot of things I don't like to read about either, though slash isn't one of them. I acknowledge that Harry's sexuality was never in question in canon. But, as I said before, this isn't canon. Look what's happened already? Harry wasn't a champion, Dudly never ate a Ton-Tongue Toffee, Dudley was never "demented," Harry went with Luna to the Yule Ball. Harry realized he might possibly like Luna, but he also might possibly like Draco. (When it comes down to it, lol, my version of Harry just has a thing for blondes.) ;-)
So, not canon.

In canon, during Harry's sixth year, he was obsessed with Draco Malfoy. Now, there was absolutely nothing sexual about his obsession in the books. But there was obsession and hatred, which are both forms of passion. So, as somebody who wrote nothing but angst for a really long time (I'm moving away from it as I get older) I have no problem turning that obsession and passion towards romance. This is me. I'm not trying to tell you you have to agree with me (Really, I'm not) but I thought you might want to know why I've made certain decisions I've made, or how I think. (And if you don't, feel free to delete this, I just felt like continuing the interesting conversation)

As for reformed!Draco. It's very likely a personal thing for myself. Before I ever read the HP books or saw the HP movies, I was a rabid Buffy fan. And Cordelia was one of my favorite characters. (Cordelia/Xander is usually my OTP) When I first read HP&SS, and saw the film, I honestly saw Draco as a female Cordelia. Straight out. Just like Cordelia was Buffy's nemesis in high school (her human nemesis) Draco was Harry's (fully human) nemesis. At the time I got into HP, which was 2001, I'd already watched the first few seasons of Buffy and the first couple seasons of Angel. So, at the time I read the first 3 HP books (I read them over about 2 or 3 days) I was already convinced that Draco would eventually become reformed. In my head, I was convinced that Draco would become Harry's ally before the story ended. This idea became firmly cemented in my mind. Therefore, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Draco. As far as I was concerned, he was just a spoiled brat who didn't understand loss and want yet, but when he did, he would become a force to be reckoned with.

So, I'm totally cool if you don't want to read Dawn Potter anymore. I get it, we don't all like the same things, I just felt, for some reason, like explaining my thought processes to you.

I'm sorry to lose you as a reader, but I wish you happy reading throughout the rest of the site!

Review of chapter "I Can't be a Witch, I'm Just Dawn" from kayron
Review:
Hey a new twist on Dawn's family! I like the story. I was worried when Dawn was left alone with the Dursleys, but ignoring Dawn is better than them treating her like the do Harry. I wonder how their Hogwarts years will be? I noticed that Dawn was learning French. In every Dawn story that I have ever read, she has had an aptitude for languages. Will she have that here? Will it benefit her magic? The same way Voldemort is after Harry, Glory will be after Dawn. The magical world can't handle the human(like?) evil of Voldemort. How are the going to handle a hellgoddess?
Comments from author:
We shall see. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to work through the timeline kinks. In this story Dawn was born in 1981, which would make her the same age as Buffy, which would mean that the fight with Glory happens after Voldemort is defeated. If I go with the other idea, and have Glory show up when Dawn is 14 (t will be when Harry is in fifth year & Umbridge is around) Buffy won't be the Slayer, there will be a different slayer. I may go with that idea, and make an original slayer. I am as yet uncertain, but at the very least, that's three years away, so I can try and figure it out. :D

Review:
Nice play on a common plot. I would love to see where this one goes, too many are started and never get passed the first few chapters. I hope to see more.
Comments from author:
I hope I can finish this eventually, but I'm not always the most reliable writer. I'll do my best!
